Mormon Apologist Jeff Lindsay says, "Please be as generous as you can, but if you have more to give, please don't let your generosity stop there."

Thinking Beyond Fast Offerings

The fast offering program of the Church has long been an inspiration to me. It is such a powerful concept, a way that we can all participate in helping the poor and needy among us. There are no overhead expenses, so 100% of what you donate will help someone, and personal care and attention goes into that help. How grateful I am for that program.

Latter-day Saints often assume that the best way to help the needy is to be generous in our donations through the fast offering program. Please be as generous as you can, but if you have more to give, please don't let your generosity stop there. In some cases, there are real needs that Church leaders are aware of that are difficult to address through the official fast offering program because of the wise restrictions and guidelines in its use. When I was a bishop, I truly appreciated a few generous souls who simply handed me cash and told me to find a good use for it - uses that fast offerings couldn't address. The donors weren't able to get a receipt or a tax deduction for this kindness, but there were several people in great need who were able to get more direct help through such means. Others would provide service or goods or cash directly to people they knew were in distress. Yes, fast offerings are wonderful, but sometimes alternate routes can provide further inspired help for those in need. In any case, I hope we can all strive to be more generous and thoughtful of those around us, especially those in times of hardship and financial stress. Recognize that throwing cash around makes some problems worse, so be wise and prayerful in what you do

Yeah, yeah, anything that the Mormon cult does to bring in more money, is an inspiration, right Jeff? Jeff Lindsay says, "There are no overhead expenses, so 100% of what you donate will help someone, and personal care and attention goes into that help." Exactly!! There is no overhead, ever, because the Mormon sheep/Morgbots, just pay, pray and obey, like they are commanded to do and cover the cost of everything, including the entire mission program. There isn't one thing that the Mormon Church does that costs them one penny out of pocket. This post by Jeff Lindsay, is absurd!! The Mormon Church brings in how many billions a year? How much do they use of that to feed the poor? They spend billions to fatten up their real estate portfolio, to help plan for the day when the billions stop flowing in, when everyone has finally realized that the Mormon Church is a complete fraud!! They spent how much on their new malls and now redeveloping basically all of down town Salt Lake, plus Ogden, Utah as well? How about the housing development in Hawaii? How about the luxury resort in Hawaii? How about the future "world trade center" in Utah that they now want to build? Need I go on?

Wake up Jeff Lindsay and everybody else that actually believes this crap!! You belong to a mind-controlling cult and they sure have a tight hold on your brain. You are an intelligent guy, with high degrees, but you can't see the light? Why do you waste your time, lying to the world about the truthfulness of the Mormon cult? Why do you have to make things up to help put the TBMS minds at ease? I'm guessing that Lynn G. Robbins talk from the April 2005 Conference, must have made Jeff Lindsay tingle from head to toe, especially the part when Lynn says, "One of the first things a bishop must do to help the needy is ask them to pay their tithing. Like the widow, if a destitute family is faced with the decision of paying their tithing or eating, they should pay their tithing." Yeah, it makes me tingle alright but in an anger unparalleled.

Here are some links to other posts that I've written regarding tithing that explain exactly what I feel and think regarding this matter. The Mormon Church absolutely and admittedly, robs from the poor. They give these talks with great pleasure. Why? Because they know that the mind-controlled sheep, will eat it up, take it to heart and pay and obey. After all, tithing is what could separate you from your loved ones in the next life. Amazing isn't it, that it all comes down to tithing/money. You can be a great person, help and feed the homeless, help your Family, love your Family, do all manner of good for the world and society, but unless you give 10% of your income to the Mormon Church, you will DIE spiritually, not be able to enter the Lord's house, in this life or the next and will not be worthy of the Celestial Kingdom or the presence of your Friends and Family that paid their tithing.

Does that sound like Family togetherness? Does sound like a Church that unites and doesn't divide? The Mormon Church is nothing but a divisive cult that rips Families apart. Let's just be clear, you have to buy, yes BUY your way into heaven. Nothing else matters!! If you don't pay up, that you must shut up and accept your fate. What a horrible teaching!! What fear!! Isn't it awful? Keep in mind that the fast offerings that Jeff Lindsay is talking about, are in addition to tithing, building fund, missionary fund, perpetual education fund, etc, etc. The Mormon Church expects everyone to give generously to all of these funds. Here is a good example of what the Mormon Church wants us to pay out. There are a couple of addtions....LOL!!

But I also want to question again, his statement, "There are no overhead expenses, so 100% of what you donate will help someone, and personal care and attention goes into that help." First of all, we don't know that "100% of what you donate will help someone", because the Mormon Church won't share with their membership, how much the bring in and how much goes out. So, that simply isn't true. Members are asked to turn over their money and have faith that these men will use it wisely. Bottom line, nobody ever knows what their money went for or who, if anybody it helped. The Mormon Hierarchy answer to nobody, at least on this earth. They could use that money to buy a brand new shiny Moroni to put on the temple in Africa, who's gonna stop them or even know about it? Besides, the TBM's, the sheep, completely trust these "men of God." I use that term very loosely!!

Then he says, "In some cases, there are real needs that Church leaders are aware of that are difficult to address through the official fast offering program because of the wise restrictions and guidelines in its use." Give me a damn break!! Yes, I know of these "wise restrictions and guidelines" that help many Bishops to refuse needy people in the ward, the Church's help. It's an outrage!! If they do help you, you must come in, humble yourself before the Bishop(The Lord) and poor out your heart with tears in your eyes. But then you must break down every bill you have, give them your complete financial situation, your history, etc. Then they ask you to shut off your cable, ride the bus to work, eat their low quality food, use their low quality of supplies(Just ask China) etc, all in order to be worthy of their financial help.

In many instances, you can do all of the above, and the answer is still NO. May God help you if you are going to be leaving the ward soon....they definitely won't help you then. Oh yeah, any financial help usually requires accepting a calling. If you are leaving the ward, well, no calling for you and no help. If they can't see a future return on their money, then SCREW YOU!! Oh yeah, and they always ask you to go to Family first, which obviously most people have either done or can't do, if they have arrived at the point of going to their Bishop.

Also, Bishops now have to call your former Bishop to see if you've had help before and to make sure that you aren't abusing the welfare system of the Church, hoping from ward to ward. Also, the Church frowns on accepting any Government welfare assistance and why would that be? It's because they want to be the ones in control of your life. They want you to 100% depend on them in times of need and bow down to them and kiss their asses. They also want to help teach you how to become self-reliant again, like they are. Of course, If I had 14 F'n million dollars a day(or more) flowing in, well, just maybe I'd never need to bow down to someone else for money or assistance? Ya think? Dumb asses!!

One other thing that always comes from asking or should I say begging the Mormon Church for help, is that they usually always make you "clean the Church", which includes "cleaning the shitter"(They fired all the janitors a few years ago due to money problems), "paint a fence", work at the cannery, work at DI, work at the Church's storehouse, etc, to once again, "be worthy" of their help. Why the hell can't they just help you, without all of the damn strings? I have had many friends, Family, etc, that have gone through exactly what I have just described. It happened in all different places, different Bishops, different situations, but the process, through the Church, was always the same as I describe. This is their welfare system in a nutshell.

Once again I mention that Jeff Lindsay says, "so 100% of what you donate will help someone." I say, show me the proof of that, because that statement is simply 100% false, based on the fact that the Mormon Church, refuses to share that information with those that are donating. I think it is wonderful to give to those that need, but by all means, do it directly, with no strings attached. The Mormon example is a shameful one and all about control. It has nothing to do with charity or Christ at all. They want to own you, make you theirs. That will insure, in their mind, that one day, through your tithes and offerings, that you will pay it all back. The Mormon Church never, EVER, does anything, without expecting a nice return on their investment. Why is this? Because they are a CULT, not a Church. They are posers!!

One more thing that sticks out from what Jeff Lindsay said, "When I was a bishop, I truly appreciated a few generous souls who simply handed me cash and told me to find a good use for it - uses that fast offerings couldn't address." Now, I'm not gonna say that Jeff wouldn't use that money for good, but to "simply hand the Bishop cash" is one of the most dumb ass, asinine things I've ever heard. Anyone that does that is a complete idiot!! Instead of handing that cash to the Bishop, go do some legwork, ask around, find out who needs help and go hand that cash to someone that needs it and that you KNOW will use if for good. What a joke!! Got that everyone!! DON'T EVER JUST HAND THE BISHOP CASH!! I'm sure in many instances, it would go straight into his pocket. Oh I forgot, all Bishops are called of God through revelation and would never be dishonest, no, NEVER!!

So, the bottom line, please, everyone, don't ever give the Mormon Church one red cent of your income as Jeff Lindsay advocates. Make a new years resolution to never ever donate to them again. On the flip side, if you have extra, want to help someone, then seek them out, find them and help them directly with no strings. God will bless you equally, if not more, than having to give it only to Mormons. At least this way, you know it won't be wasted on vain things of the world. The Mormon cult is just a Billion dollar corporation that doesn't give a rat's ass about anybody but themselves. The Mormon Hierarchy are just greedy, money hungry idolaters that rob from the poor every chance they get. Can anyone guess what they worship?

What The Mormon Hierarchy Considers To Be An Important "Official News Release" From The Church-- Angel Moroni Statue Placed on Manhattan Temple!!

Here is the caption that is provided on the "News Releases-Official news releases from the Church" section of their website:

Angel Moroni Statue Placed on Manhattan Temple 9 October 2004.

Photos

NEW YORK — A statue of the angel Moroni was placed on the Manhattan New York Temple Saturday morning as hundreds of spectators looked on. The temple was dedicated 13 June 2004. High-resolution, downloadable photos are available.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amazing isn't it? Then again, it shouldn't surprise those of us that know what the Mormon cult(AKA Church), is really all about. This was seriously "an official news release?" It's pretty sad, isn't it? How many millions live in New York, and they want to brag about "hundreds of spectators looking on." Actually, it's a complete embarrassment and humiliating to realize that nobody gave a tinkers damn about some dumb ass angel Moroni that was being lifted up to the top of the Mormon temple. Give me a damn Break!!

I did have one question though? When exactly do they place the trumpet in his hand? Is that some type of symbolic BS too? If you notice, until the last picture, there was no trumpet. Maybe he has to be officially on top of the temple, locked in place, before they send up some poor sap to place the trumpet, gently in his hand......LOL!! How much do these stupid ass Moroni's cost anyway?

Couldn't the Mormon Church use that money to help some poor, hungry people, members/non-members, or dig some water wells over in Africa. Imagine how much that money could help a Family or several Families, if it was given to them instead of being spent on some dumb ass, make believe, fairytale Angel that came straight out of Joseph Smith's....well, you know what I'm saying.

It is amazing to me that more people in the Church, including TBM's can't see this crap for what it is. Then again, I used to be so proud of my Moroni tie pin, which I wore for my entire mission. But even I, wouldn't have shown up to see Moroni raised up to the top of the temple, thankfully. Those people must be the truly die-hard TBMS that wouldn't miss it for the world. I wonder if they were allowed to touch it, for special blessings? Nah...I doubt it, that would have contaminated him.

Oh yeah, by the way, what's the real story about Moroni? Most all temples have them but some don't and why is that? Also, does the Mormon Hierarchy actually believe that all of the Moroni's are gonna come to life and blow their trumpets in unison, when Christ returns? I'm sure they do!! Ha ha, they'll be waiting a long time for that one I guess. Here is a link, to know than you ever wanted to know about the Angel Moroni.

One more thing of interest; the Mormon Church considers this ridiculous "Moroni raising" to be news, meanwhile, one of their missionaries in Argentina, Benjamin Ellsworth, just tragically died after a train accident and they can't bother to make one mention of it. Why is that? Well, as Captain Jack says, it isn't "faith promoting", therefore, not relevant. The Mormon Hierarchy should be ashamed of themselves, but when you know no shame, it's hard to be ashamed.

Oh yeah, one more thing; why do Mormon's shun or have such disdain for the cross that all other Christians respect and wear? It appears clear to me that the Mormon Church has exchanged the cross for the Angel Moroni, haven't they? So the angel Moroni is okay to wear on necklaces, earrings, tie tacks, socks, shirts, to put on bookmarks, temples, etc, but the cross is some evil horrible thing? The Mormon line on this is, "we focus on the fact that Jesus was resurrected and alive, not on his death.

The sad thing is, I repeated this BS to a million people during my mission/TBM days and believed it hook line and sinker, although if I really thought about what I was saying, it required cognitive dissonance, you know, the "put it on the shelf" thing. I also remember as a kid, when I saw people wearing the cross, or hanging crosses from Bibles, that is was evil and bad. Anyway, just interesting isn't it? Moroni-YES, Jesus' cross-NO!!

That says a lot, doesn't it? Oh, but don't forget, they are Christians and focus on Jesus 100%!! Yeah, and I've got some ocean front property for sale in Florida for really cheap. I think the new Mormon Godhead, consists of Hinckley as the father, Joseph Smith as Jesus and Moroni as the Holy Ghost. Makes sense to me!!

What Mormon Hierarchy is nothing but a bunch of ego-maniacs/pompous asses!! Their damn make believe angel means more than feeding the poor and now we see, more than life itself. At least we know, for those of us that believe in hell, that all of these Jackasses will be in hell someday. That is what I consider to be a "very righteous judgment" based on the facts. By the way, show me one story on LDS.org, that talks about a missionaries death, in their news section. Good luck!! Case Closed!!

Mormon Church Worships Joseph Smith Like He Was Jesus!! Then Again, Joseph Smith Claimed That He Was Greater Than Jesus!! Check This Out!!

***Update-April 18, 2006***Here is another link that will show you a few more pictures of this great Joseph Smith Nativity scene. Apparently some of you out there don't consider this to be a Nativity scene at all. Let's see, he is laying in a crib(instead of some straw), laying in a replica log cabin(instead of a manger), it was Christmas time(when most people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ) and they even had the modern day decorations of today, that didn't even exist in Joseph's day(namely a Christmas tree with lights).

By the way, for those that aren't aware, this little set up was like 30 seconds from the office of the President of BYU, right inside the main door of the admin building, so that everybody entering the building would see it. I'm sure it gave him and everybody else, warm fuzzies, every time they walked past it. Talk about a bosom inferno!!

Do you think that they ever considered setting up a Jesus Nativity scene in the Admin building, instead of Joseph Smith? Well, since he was greater than Jesus Christ, according to Joseph himself, I highly doubt it!!

Websters dictionary defines Nativity as, "the process or circumstances of being born, the place of origin, or the act or instance of being born." Encarta describes nativity as,"birth or origin, especially the place, process, or circumstances of being born." What would you guys call it, the "Joseph as a very small infant, lying in a crib, at Christmas time scene?" So, call it whatever the hell you want, but, give me a break, it's a damn nativity scene folks, no matter how some of you want to split hairs or deny reality.

Is it actually possible that some of you missed out on all of the Joseph Smith obsession, worship and extravaganzas, that took place all year long, culminating with the 200 year birthday party on December 23rd? Maybe it's just me, but I seem to remember Hinckley, Ballard(direct descendant of Joseph Smith) and Packer in Vermont(tape recorded, not live) and Faust, Monson and the rest of the gang, in a sold out conference center, specifically to celebrate the birth of Joseph Smith?Oh yeah, "PRAISE TO THE MAN", RIGHT? This nativity scene was just part of it!!

Hey, did any of you ever wonder, why the Church didn't and hasn't ever, specifically had a birthday party for Jesus Christ, with Hinckley and co. over in Bethlehem, at the birth sight of Jesus Christ? Hell, they could have thrown a party for Jesus this past December, filled the conference center and celebrated his 2006th anniversary of being born, right? They could do it ever year!! Oh well, I guess that Hinckley and Joseph Smith are just more important.

Now, I'm not talking about a Christmas devotional either, rather a "birthday party(bash) for Jesus." You know, like Hinkcley has every 5 years and Joseph every 100 years. Of course, they'd have to throw the party on April 6th every year, since that is actually when he was born and the exact date, according to Joseph Smith. I guess they could still do it in December, just as long as they made it clear that his actual birthdate was April 6th, so that nobody got confused. It could become a tradition, like Hinckley's birthday bashes!! Maybe they could even change the words of "We Thank The O God For A Prophet", to "We Thank Thee O God For Jesus Chirst." Nah.....what am I thinking, that will never happen!!

By the way, for those than just have to have a DVD of that incredible birthday celebration of the greatest man to ever live on this earth, it's only $4.50, plus shipping. Now, that's one hell of a deal and a steal!! I just called and verified it myself, but you can go to this page and order as many as you need. They will make great birthday and Christmas gifts for everyone. The line is pretty busy though, so you may have to hold for 5-10 minutes and they will try to get your name, before giving you any information. Kolob is a very busy place. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up!! LOL!!

Just think, once you own it, you and your friends, can watch it over and over, until your bosom explodes from the joy. Even better, you can invite your NON-MEMBER friends and family over, to "feel and partake of the spirit", while watching this flick. Just keep a very close eye on them during the show, to see if you can sense them getting emotional or spiritual.

That would be a sure sign that they know the Church is true, that Joseph Smith was a Prophet and they will be on their way to becoming a Mormon God someday, with exaltation in the highest degree of Celestial glory. Also, I highly suggest having some Mylanta on hand, just in case your bosom or their bosom gets out of control and goes haywire. Those burning bosom episodes can be pretty damn dangerous, especially when watching a "Joseph Smith worship show."

Also for those that can't get enough of Joseph Smith and worshiping him(Praise to the man), here is another link, which is a very special Christmas tribute I did, to the man that Kings and nations revere and extol, showing more pictures of this GLORIOUS NATIVITY SCENE.(Personally, I like the Moroni birds-eye view) Also, please don't miss out on my 200th Birthday Tribute To Joseph Smith, as I'm sure you TBMS will just love it!! Isn't it all just so wonderful?!! Where's the fire extinguisher?***
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's beginning to look a lot like Smithmas......everywhere you go......take a look at the BYU admin building, glistening once again, with baby Joseph Smith and sliver lanes aglow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Smithmas...everywhere you go...just wait until December 23rd!!

Have You Guys Seen The Joseph Smith Nativity Scene That Is Set Up At BYU?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been waiting for like a week for someone to take pictures of this. I was gonna head down there myself today or tomorrow, but somebody finally took the pictures. Thank you for taking these pictures and for posting them. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I just thought that you guys would enjoy this. Unbelievable!! Just remember, that the Mormon Church worships Jesus Christ, not Joseph Smith. Oh yeah, but please tune in on December 23rd for the 8th Joseph Smith birthday bash this year....it will be so fun, especially with Hinckley hanging out in Vermont, Joseph's birthplace. I already have goosebumps and my bosom is burning, just thinking about it. Isn't it wonderful?

I just love how the Mormon Church tries to convince the world that they don't worship Joseph Smith, just Jesus and that they are Christians, etc. They revere him, respect him, blah, blah, blah. This entire year has been dedicated to worshiping Joseph Smith and will continue, on December 23rd, with Hinckley in Vermont, Joseph's birthplace and rest of his cronies in the conference center along with all the Morgbots.

In reality, my new term, that I will use from now on, for Mormons, is Smithians. They have never been Christians and are as far away from that as they've ever been, especially with Hinckley large and in charge. Hinckley may not even believe in Jesus or the Father, since he considers himself to be a God. Did you see his birthday bash/worship party, this last summer? He did the same thing for his 90th birthday and is already planning his 100th birthday bash. Many common members, may consider themselves to be Christians, but I'm talking about the Mormon Hierarchy, not the common members, for the most part.

But, you'll see on December 23rd, when the Mormon Church throws yet another birthday bash and their Conference Center is packed with Morgbots. Everyone will have stars in their eyes and just be so grateful to be able to worship Joseph Smith for Christmas. What a blessing!! Makes sense doesn't it? A supposedly "Christian" Church, throwing a massive worshiping party for their founder, two days before Christmas. Yep, is sure does, if you really worship Joseph Smith instead of Jesus, it's makes perfect sense!! Thanks for making it so clear!!

Oh yeah and just for fun, lets all remember now, what Joseph Smith himself had to say in regards to who was greater, himself or Jesus plus a bonus quote on denying that he was ever a polygamist. This was a great day for Joseph Smith but a better day for those of us that see the light.

Joseph said:

Quote:
I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I.
The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.

What a thing it is for a man
to be accused of committing adultery, and having seven wives, when I can only find one.

I am the same man, and as innocent as I was fourteen years ago; and I can prove them all perjurers. I labored with these apostates myself until I was out of all manner of patience...
(History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 408-412).

Merry Smithmas everyone and a happy new smear!!

Oops, Mormon Church Sends Outdated Equipment, Stained Bedding,Dirty, Mildewed Sheets, Used Surgical Gloves, bandages, Etc, To China!!

China sends medical goods back to LDS Church
Used: Chinese officials say the bedding was stained, and other equipment was outdated
By Alexa Olesen
The Associated Press

BEIJING - Thousands of pounds of medical equipment reportedly donated to China by the Mormon church will be returned because it includes stained bedding, used surgical clothes and expired medical equipment, local media and a charity official said Friday.

The donations came from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, said a woman reached at the publicity department of China Charity, the country's largest charitable organization. She declined to give her name and could provide no further details about the donor.

The LDS Church donates humanitarian services around the world through its organization, Latter-day Saint Charities, said Kim Farah, a spokeswoman at church headquarters. In addition to medical supplies, those services include providing clean water, medical training for vision treatments and neonatal resuscitation, she said.

''Latter-day Saint Charities has very high standards of quality control. We expect all supplies we ship to be clean, useable and in good repair,'' Farah said. ''Consequently, we are taking this situation very seriously and have asked that the containers be returned to us so we can investigate the matter.''

The woman from China Charity confirmed a report on The Beijing News Web site that said three containers of donations sent to charitable organizations in Beijing and the northern provinces of Anhui and Hebei were found to be of questionable quality and would be sent back.

Customs inspectors in Beijing found medical pipes that expired in 1998, dirty, mildewed sheets and used surgical gowns in one of the shipments, the newspaper said. Similarly shoddy goods were also found in the shipments sent to Anhui and Hebei, it said.

The shipment for Anhui alone totaled 926 boxes and weighed 15,000 pounds, the newspaper said.

Farah said medical shipments from LDS Charities typically include items such as surgical gloves, bandages, medical tubing and other items that are still in the sterile packaging. Pharmaceuticals are not shipped.

Any used items, such as crutches or wheelchairs would be inspected and repaired as needed, she said. Used clothing would also be laundered and inspected.
Farah said the church values the partnerships it has developed in China with governmental and nongovernmental agencies.

''We regret any difficulties caused by the shipment in question and will work diligently to resolve this matter quickly,'' she said.

Well, someone sure dropped the ball on this one!! I don't have much to add, I think it's self-explanatory. I'm sure Hinckley's going ballistic and heads are rolling in the Church office building. Someone's getting fired and there goes their temple recommend and ticket to the Celestial Kingdom. I just think it's funny that China is a place that the Mormon Church can't wait to fully penetrate with their missionary program, since they've about tapped out the rest of the world, and then they have this fiasco. I'm sure that the Chinese, Communist Government, really appreciated this latest stunt. There go the brownie points eh? So much for the publicity and Hinckley being able to brag at the next conference, about how much they've done for China.

They are trying to desperately suck up to the Chinese Government, so that eventually, they can buy their way into China and start converting and robbing the poor, repressed people there. If they could get into China, they would probably just pull every missionary from all the other missions around the world and send them to China. Anyway, this is certainly a major black eye for the Mormon Church's efforts. Hell, why don't they just offer the Chinese Government like a Billion dollars a year and be done with it. I'm sure that it won't be hard to convert the Chinese, since they are used to being repressed and told what to do.

Anyway, good to see that Mormon Church is running such a tight ship. I guess this one backfired, didn't it? I've been in Church storehouses and believe me, using expired products, dented cans, etc, is par for the course. Has anyone been in a Deseret Industries lately? They don't even wash the clothes before reselling them. I once knew a girl that bought clothes from "DI" and she would bring them home with stained, crusted armpits, stinking of BO. I told her how gross it was and we got in a big fight because she said that I was calling her gross. Well.......?

I just think it's gross period that anybody or any store would sell used clothes without washing them first. I wonder if it's even legal? It certainly isn't sanitary!! It's also sad that people that really do need them, have to buy them in that condition. You see, the Mormon Church is so cheap, and cares so little for the poor, that they can't even spend the money to simply launder used clothes before selling them. Just for the record, that girl I spoke of above, didn't need to be shopping at "DI", she was just cheap and yes, it was gross, very gross.

Anyway, congratulations Hinckley, way to make the national news and expose yourself and YOUR Church, once again, for the embarrassing disgrace of a cult, that they are. Oh yeah, all that shit that they are sending to China; maybe they could have helped my friend out instead or any of the actual members that are in dire straights and really need their help after paying tithing their whole damn life. Nah.....let's just send it all to China instead and turn down the actual members. After all, it is better to help Non-members and there is more potential in China for converts and future tithing, right? Why actually help someone that is actually already a part of the Church? I wonder if the Church is gonna bill China for the return shipping?

The Mormon Cult is a complete disgrace and I hope that China NEVER EVER, let's the Mormon Church infiltrate their country. The poor, repressed people of China, would just be going from one evil, Communist regime, to another. That's why the Mormon Church can't wait to get in there. They know how easy it will be!!

Hinckley's Ridiculous Book Of Mormon Challenge-23 Days Left and counting-The Pressure's On Baby!! Get 'er Done!! Get those blessings From Above!!

What is the Book of Mormon challenge?

"I offer a challenge to members of the church throughout the world and to our friends everywhere to read or reread the Book of Mormon. If you will read a bit more than one and one-half chapters a day, you will be able to finish the book before the end of the year."
- LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley in the August editions of the Ensign and Liahona magazines

Oh man, I'm freaking out, I'm still on page 1 and I have 530 to go in just 23 days. What am I gonna do? Ha Ha!! Thankfully, I don't have to give a rat's ass about this ridiculous "challenge", now full blown "commandment" of God's "one and only true mouthpiece"(aka Prophet). Notice how that happens? Hinckley just simply suggests something and the lab rats(TBMS) start freaking out, running around like chickens with their heads cut off, to please this cult dictator, their Master, disguised as a Prophet of God. If this isn't the perfect example, for all the world to see, that the Mormon Church is a full blown cult, disguised as a Church, then I don't know what is?

If it isn't how many earrings a woman can wear, what kind of music they can listen to, what kind of TV shows and movies they can watch, what kind of underwear is required to enter into the Lord's house and ultimately, the Celestial Kingdom, what they do in private with their bodies, whether they have oral sex or not and now reading the book of Mormon, etc, etc, it's always something. Hinckley always suggests things and then people run with it, I should say sprint with it. Are TBMS that desperate for guidance or for a new commandment, that they hang on every word that comes out of his mouth, almost begging for something new to do that will restrict their lives, free agency and free time? Apparently so, if we use this latest fiasco as an example. But then again, that's typical cult behaviour.

The other day, I had a friend come over, that doesn't know about my full blown high dive into outer darkness, where I now hang out with Satan and Demons everyday, as I'm one of the elect that has been deceived, and he asked me if I was obeying Hinckley on his "commandment" to read the Book of Mormon. First, I had to try not to laugh out-loud, cause he was so intense about it and so serious. Anyway, I just decided to mess with him and have a little fun. I said, "Hell no!!" Ha Ha!! If you could have seen the look on his face!! I said, "I don't do well when people tell me that I HAVE to do something." He said, "you're joking, right?

He actually started laughing and said, "yeah right, I know you are reading it and that you're just messing with me." "I know you", he said. I said, "no seriously, I haven't read one page since that promise, command, whatever, was spoken." He still didn't believe me..he said, "really?" "But he's the Prophet of God and he promised us that we'd have the spirit more strongly in our lives if we read the Book of Mormon", "You don't want or need to feel that spirit in your life?"Then he bore his testimony to me, "that ever since that "promise was made, and he started reading, that he had that extra strong spirit with him, guiding and directing him and that he could feel it with him so much stronger." He said, "the difference was incredible, before and after he started reading." (suggestive thought or perception is reality, isn't it? Especially when you are brainwashed and deep into a cult.)

I then said, "that I had in fact been reading the Book of Mormon( a lie) but as soon as it was commanded of me, that I rebelled and stopped reading, because I don't like to be forced to do things." He continued bearing his testimony to me(over and over) about how important it was to read the book of Mormon and told me that if I did, the Lord would bless me blah blah blah. He strongly urged me to "follow Hinckley and cautioned me of the consequences if I didn't and so on."

Anyway, that was my personal experience with someone that has taken this "suggestion, command, challenge, Promise, etc," hook line and sinker. This is the kind of guy that Hinckley was hoping to reach. He wants to find out who his "true sheep" are. Who would drink the cool-aid for me, is what he wants to know. He wants to divide and conquer. My friend was currently in Alma and he talked about how he had to get cracking, in order to finish by December 31st. He was worried and very concerned about this.

Is this one of the dumbest things that the Mormon Church has ever done or what? I mean seriously!! Notice that Hinckley wants everyone to "read" the Book of Mormon, not "study" the Book of Moron, I mean Mormon. How desperate is the Mormon Church becoming. I've been talking about their desperation for months now and trust me, it will only get worse and worse, in every aspect. The amount of converts, missionaries, etc, will continue to shrink, I believe, in large part, due to the information so readily available on the Internet. Instead of going to a library and researching, a few letters typed and a click or two and there it is.

I've been predicting this for a while now and I'll say it again; it won't be long before the Church tells every member to only subscribe to the the "Mormon Internet", where they will filter out all porno and most importantly, all anti-Mormon sites. It's coming, you watch and see!!

Now, if anyone really "studied the Book of Mormon", they would figure out it was nothing but plagiarism and fantasy, mixed with horrible grammar and a slew of misspelled, misused words, etc. The Book of Mormon is a very poorly written book and even harder to read. I admit, some of the stories are interesting, like a Novel, but the majority of the book is just like taking a sedative. If anyone has a hard time getting to sleep at night, or has insomnia, just try reading the Book of Mormon, and you should be good to go without any meds.

Not one shred of archaeological evidence has ever been found, unless it was by FARMS(part of the Church and BYU) or some die-hard, crackpot Mormon. Even then, it's only theory or maybe, possibly, etc. Nothing has ever actually proved, archaeologically, one single thing, city or person in the Book of Mormon, especially the Hill Cumorah, with not one shred of evidence proving that two great battles were fought there. Have you read the official statements by National Geographic and the Smithsonian Institute, completely debunking the Book of Mormon as an actual historical document? I'll post them here soon.

I had various discussions this past week with some die-hard TBM's regarding the lack of evidence in, on or around the Hill Cumorah, where millions of people supposedly died, wearing full battle gear and it was amazing and eye opening. FARMS and FAIR, along with these TBMS, can only come up with one thing; there were two Hill Cumorahs. Of course, nobody knows for sure where the hell this other Hill is, but there is one in Mexico, that is currently the number one candidate. Starting to sound a little sketchy?

The first clue to all TBMS or members and the world, that there is a massive problem with the veracity of the Book of Mormon, is that not one Mormon Prophet or Apostle, in the 175 year History of Mormonism, has been able to identify, definitively, where the hell these people even lived or where there cities are. So much for inspiration eh? So much for revelation eh? They have however pointed out, with no doubt, that the Hill Cumorah in New York, is THE Hill Cumorah, where the great battles were fought. Therefore, the "two Hill Cumorah theory" is out!!

Then again, it's really hard to come up with proof of a people, cities, places, coins, battle gear, bones, etc, when they never ever existed, except in the mind of Joseph Smith. Get a clue people!! It's not that hard to figure this out. However, you must turn off your emotions and flip on your brain in order to understand what I'm saying. I know, because I had to do just that about 6 months ago.

I'll admit that before my mission, I had never read the Book of Mormon all the way through. While in the MTC, I read it twice in English. Then during the rest of my mission in Argentina, I managed to read the Book of Mormon 10 times, front to back, finishing it for the 10th time just days before coming home. If I have one thing to thank the Book of Mormon for, it greatly helped and improved my Spanish, so at least all that time wasn't in vain. Besides, what the hell else was I gonna do, with 156 hours a week to dedicate to the Lord.(I subtracted 12 hours for p-day.)

One thing that I've noticed, is that the Book of Mormon(Joseph Smith), liked to "cut things off." Whether it was sinners from the Spirit of God, or heads from Laban and Shiz or bad guys arms. With all the wars and the Nephi experience near the beginning, where he slices off a drunk dudes head in the name of God(Laban) and then puts on his clothes(all bloody, right?) and "every whit" and then tricks everyone(now no blood) that he's actually Laban, in order to steal the Bible, the Book of Mormon is a gore fest. Be-headings, wars, bloodshed by the millions, it's slaughterville baby.

It should be rated at least X or XX for violence. If it was a movie and showed everything that actually happened, it would have to be at least X or XX, possibly even XXX. Nephi was no better than the terrorists today,(Raferties) that hear voices in their head, from their God and then feel that they MUST cut off someones head or kill, in order to accomplish their(God's) goals. But, it's completely justified, after all, their God told them to do it, right? This guy Nephi, is supposed to be an example for our Children? Just call him Nephi-Osama, right? There's no difference. Nephi was just a terrorist.

Of course, the BOM, doesn't do much for God's image either. He couldn't just help Nephi to get the plates, without beheading Laban, after God got him drunk of course, and delivered him into his hands. Then Nephi didn't want to do it, but the Spirit kept telling him to "kill him", "kill Him", so finally he does "obey the voice of the spirit" and be-heads him. Isn't it lovely, isn't it wonderful? Gather the kids around the fire and teach them how "Gods Spirit" demanded that Nephi behead Laban, of course, breaking the 10 commandments that were in the "plates of brass", or the Bible that he needed to steal,(oops, broke another commandment) which justified the murder. Make sense?

For an example of the graphic gore and the complete fantasy that I mentioned above, how about this one, regarding Shiz;

Ether 15:30-32

30-And it came to pass that when Coriantumr had leaned upon his sword, that he rested a little, he smote off the head of Shiz.
31-And it came to pass that after he had smitten off the head of Shiz, that Shiz raised up on his hands and fell; and after that he had struggled for breath, he died.
32-And it came to pass that Coriantumr fell to the earth, and became as if he had no life.

How would you like to see that one on the big screen, with your little kids? First of all, "He smote off the head of Shiz", so, the head is gone, detached from the Shiz's body, correct? Then in verse 31, somehow, Shiz's body(I'm guessing for dramatic effect and to prove how evil he really was) raised up on his hands and fell. Then it says that he "struggled for breath and he died."

Now is it just me that has a problem with that? First of all, how did he raise up, without a head on his body? Secondly, how did he then, after his head was safely removed from his body, "struggle for breath" and only then die? Give me a damn break!! You've gotta do better than that Joseph if you expect me to buy this crap. My guess is that he was laughing his ass off at some of this stuff, while getting drunk or smoking herbs and couldn't believe how gullible and stupid everyone was for believing it. Just the head in the hat would have done it for me man. Isn't it wonderful? It's like, magical, isn't it? It makes me warm all over and my bosom is burning like a .....well, never mind.

This just really makes you wonder what people are thinking when they read this. Honestly, I always questioned this stuff and wondered about it, but I still knew that the Book of Mormon was true, even though it made no sense.(due to brainwashing from my youth) So, when I began to unravel the BS that is Mormonism, I fell back on every doubt, and common sense moment that I had ever had, therefore helping me to expedite my departure faster than most or at least some. It was like a flood, as my brain finally kicked in and I began to remember all of the doubts that I had had all throughout my life. Suddenly, everything made sense. Suddenly, I could rely on my normal, analytical brain, to understand, exactly and precisely, why I had always had all of these doubts/questions and I finally knew the answer:

That the Mormon Church was a complete fraud!!

Here is my suggestion, to those that are currently reading the Book of Mormon, or panicked about finishing by December 31st, just because some man "suggested" it; put the book down, enjoy your life and family. Enjoy the holidays and your free time and set aside your guilt. Watch your favorite Christmas shows, play games, rent some movies, anything, but read that dumb, fictitious Book of Mormon. Recently, a story appeared in the Salt lake Tribune here in Utah, regarding this "Book of Mormon Challenge, and I found some of the quotes to be downright nauseating.

Anyway, I'll end this post with that article, with some great quotes by people that are currently trying to hurry and finish on time:

LDS members cram to complete the challenge to read the Book of Mormon by year's end
Scripture chase
By Mark Eddington
The Salt Lake Tribune

A Salt Lake City attorney reads it in Japanese and reads nothing else. A BYU student downloaded it onto his MP3 player and listens to it wherever he goes. A Provo couple took their book, blanket and picnic basket to the park and read for 15 hours. Call them the "Book of Mormon-challenged."

All over Utah, many Latter-day Saints are desperately - some despairingly - racing to meet church President Gordon B. Hinckley's challenge, issued July 25, to read the Book of Mormon by year's end.

When Hinckley speaks, faithful Mormons obey. So riders are taking TRAX to read Mosiah, hopping on UTA buses to roll through Alma or hooking up with carpools to plow through other portions of the 531-page book on CD or cassette. Some churchgoers even play catch-up in sacrament meetings instead of listening to sermons or, dare we say, snoozing.
"I'll be riding the bus or TRAX and pull my book out, and everyone else will pull theirs out, too," says LDS Business College sophomore Cameron Coppin.

At a recent devotional, LDS General Authority Marlin K. Jensen joked about the deteriorating social skills of church employees who always have their heads buried in the book. Even so, The Challenge is no laughing matter for the challenged. University of Utah senior Don Dowdle of South Jordan is navigating through 3 Nephi in Portuguese on daily train trips, striving to overtake his parents. "They have been keeping a 10-chapter lead on me for three or four weeks," he laments.

Stuck in 2 Nephi, Mark Sorensen of West Jordan, 23, frets that he should be in Helaman by now, several hundred pages and, seemingly, endless light-rail trips away. "I probably won't make it," he concedes. "But I'm reading the book on faith that I will be blessed if I try to follow the prophet." Reading the Book of Mormon is Kelli Snow's just desserts - literally.
Every 10 chapters she digests, she treats herself to a Lindt chocolate bar. "You've heard of the Freshman 15?" the Utah Valley State College student asks. "I've put on 15 pounds reading the Book of Mormon."

That's the spirit, says Ashley Llavina, who works for Brigham Young University's Center for Service and Learning, passing out "Y Read" cards with Hinckley's challenge printed on them. Problem is, the BYU junior confesses, she's not practicing what she is passing out or preaching. "I'm still in 1 Nephi [the beginning of the book]," says Llavina, who vows to cram over the holiday break to catch up. Sacrifice, though, brings blessings for West Jordan bank clerk Sarah Hintze, who says she is "happier" for reading each day - although she struggled to wade through all the "wars and stuff" in Alma.

The Book of Mormon, which members see as a companion to the Bible, brings slumber for BYU student Collin Simonsen when listening to his wife, Tessa. "That's why she has me read."
BYU defensive end Tyler Berry wasn't going to tackle the challenge when his Book of Mormon instructor told class members they could read the first half of the book and still satisfy Hinckley's charge. After the October General Conference, however, the professor decided students best go the whole nine yards. "Now I'm having to double time my way through it," Berry says. Trey Hall of Littleton, Colo., gathers his family and pet Labrador Spike on the bed each night to read. "Spike's not as reverent as our old Lab," Hall says. "His predecessor was very spiritual. But Spike is improving. He listens better now."

Sandy father Kevin Pasker's children perk up during their read-a-thons to and from picking up a sibling at dance class, particularly during parts when they "know another Lamanite will die." Listening to the scriptures on tape takes any rage out of road trips for Pasker's co-worker, Carl Bohn of Cottonwood Heights. Such peace comes at a price. Doggone, some say, they have to be dogged to endure to the end of, say, the book's hard-to-finish but even harder-to-fathom Isaiah chapters. "There should be some Sparknotes for the Book of Mormon to make it easier," says U. freshman Megan Whitfield,
who jests she plans to call in sick for two weeks so she can finish reading and meet the challenge.

Heck, even hell-and-damnation sermons can't propel some to crack the book. West Valley City resident Dan Bassett says there are so many "it came to passes" in the book's beginning, he decided to pass on reading it. The diligent disciples labor on, though, whenever and wherever possible.
Everywhere 19-year-old Jessica Armstrong of Salt Lake City goes, "Everyone has their Book of Mormon out, trying to get 'er done."

Take care guys, and please, please, I beg of you, if you are currently reading the Book of Mormon, STOP, and give that time to your Family or to yourself. Give it to anyone but the damn Mormon cult and their cult leader, that only wants to control every apect of your life!! Enjoy life and quit feeling guilty over some bogus challenge by some rich dude/cult leader that doesn't really give a damn about you. You see, this is all a plan!! He wants everyone to read or re-read the Book of Mormon, feel the spirit and guilt, if they aren't currently worthy for the temple, then to start paying their tithing, and finally, to return to the Lord's house.

Then, these people can thank Hinckley and the Book of Mormon Challenge for their return to temple worthiness. They can bear their testimonies to the whole ward and world, that they wouldn't be going to the temple if it wasn't for Gordo and his challenge. You see, it comes full circle and everything that that Mormon Church does, especially Hinckley, comes down to money. Isn't it obvious?!!

So, here's my prediction; all you die-hards out there, you TBM's, prepare yourselves for the Doctrine and Covenants challenge. It will go something like this:

"I offer a challenge to members of the church throughout the world and to our friends everywhere to read or reread the Doctrine and Covenants. If you will read just one page a day, starting January 1st, you will be able to finish the book by October 22nd."

Here Is A Perfect Example Of The F'd Up Mormon Censorship In Utah, Even When The TV Station Isn't Owned By The Mormon Church!! What A Joke!!

http://www.kutv.com/topstories/local_story_340131037.html

KUTV Statement On The Victoria's Secret Show
Save It Email It Print It Poll
When do you feel the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show should air?

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is network programming sent to us by CBS. Since we are owned and operated by CBS, we are required to air their programming.

However, due to the controversial nature of this program KUTV will not be airing The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in primetime.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air in it’s entirety following the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson at 12:35 am.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's the interesting thing. On the link that I gave you, they have a running poll but obviously the dumb shits that run KUTV, don't give a damn about what the MAJORITY want. Here is the question for the poll and the current results:

Poll

When do you feel the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show should air?
**UPDATED** FINAL POLL NUMBERS!!
Ok for daytime-2% 2%
Ok for primetime-41% 42%
Ok for late night-26% 25%
Not ok anytime-32% 31%

So, 69%(interesting number.....ha..ha) of the people have no problem with it being shown, while 32% feel that it's not "ok for anytime." I'm sure that you can guess who those 32% are. I'm assuming that they are rounding the numbers up, thus it totals 101%. How pathetic that so many Mormons are so terrified and afraid of lingerie or anything sexy. I bet those that voted NO, have a really pathetic, deprived, sheltered Mormon sex life. Like the woman said the other night on that channel 4 exclusive, (I'm paraphrasing here) "When we make love, I don't know if he sees my face or is fantasizing about some woman he was looking at. I guess that same thing could be said for the hot chick in Wal-mart that walks by, or heaven forbid, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. To be so damn sheltered and shallow!!

I think many Mormons are afraid of their own shadows, sexuality and self esteem is lacking big time. Thus the reason that there is so much depression, use of anti-depressants and suicides in the State of Utah. It's hard to have a sense of self-worth, when every damn thing you do, in your public or private life, depends on the approval of some Jackasses in Salt Lake that don't know you from their ass or even care about you. Just pay your tithing and do what they say and you'll be fine.

I'm sure that whoever made the call, on not to show The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, until 12:35 am, is a devout Mormon. Probably a Bishop or Stake President or best buddy of Boyd K. Packer or one of the Mormon cult leaders. I would lay good money on that one for sure. Most of the anchors and news people there, are all Mormon. This is channel 2 in Utah by the way. The Mormon Church owns channel 5, which is KSL. KTVX is channel 4 in Utah and the other night, they did a ridiculous report, following the Church's line, on pornography. They based the whole segment on Gordon B. Hinckley's words, regarding pornography.

They showed a
little video clip from Gordo (currently it's listed as #4, under "featured stories" and is titled "Dangerous Obsession") on how destructive porno is and then interviewed, mostly, if not all Mormon women, about the pitfalls of Porno, etc, etc. I'm safely assuming that these were Mormons that had been counseled by their unqualified Bishops that were being interviewed. They even used Dallin H. Oaks' pathetic line from the April Conference, about Porno addiction being harder to overcome than cocaine or hard drugs. I was shocked.

I guess it's good to now know, beyond a shadow of a Mormon doubt, that the Mormon Church has all 3 main stations safely tucked in their back pocket. One of the main anchors on channel 4, used to work at KSL and I know that she's Mormon. I guess those Billions can buy you anything you want. In this case, it's censorship.

The sexual repression in the Mormon Church is just another thing that is so wrong and so pathetic and ultimately can be destructive and cost lives. God help anyone that has fantasies or a normal sex drive, or especially, that masturbates, cause they need to repent or they are going to hell. Oh yeah, and according to Boyd K. Packer and Spencer Kimball, if they masturbate, it will eventually lead them into divers sins and eventually the gross sin of homosexuality.

How ironic, considering that the horny bastard, Joseph Smith, was the founder of the Mormon Church. He was sleeping with how many women? Had how many wives? He married other men's wives, other men's pregnant wives, 14 year old little girls and did it all in the name of God. Joseph Smith was the original Mormon adulterer, fornicator, pedophile, child rapist and again, he did it all in the name and with the permission of God.

Then there's Brigham Young, who had like 55 wives plus all the others that were also Polygamists. In other words, this damn Mormon cult, was founded on and based on SEX, adultery, fornication, pedophilia, etc and now we can't even watch a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show during primetime in Utah. You have Boyd K. Packer telling little Boys about their "little factory" and not to "fondle themselves." I guess we've come full circle haven't we.

I've said it before and I'm sure that I'll say it again, if Joseph Smith or Brigham Young were here today, they'd be joining that psychopath Jeffs and his Mormon Fundamentalist Church in Southern Utah. They wouldn't even recognize this watered down, sexual repressed shadow/joke of what they created.

Anyway, this is what you deal with when you live in Utah. I love the 4 seasons, water-skiing in the summer and snow-skiing in the winter and the mountains and landscapes down south are beautiful, but never, ever forget, who really runs and owns the State of Utah, lock, stock and barrel; THE MORMON CHURCH!! At least for now they do.

I'm hopeful, as the majority dwindles, that one day, they will lose control of Utah to us evil, Anti-Mormon, Gentiles. To quote Packer once again, "don't spread disease germs." Oh yeah, lets also not forget the wonderful Marriotts, who show and profit from Hard-core pornos in their self-named hotels and the fact that the Mormon Church directly profits from companies like Direct TV and Comcast, that bring in hundreds of millions in profits from hard-core porno.

Oh yeah, and lets not forget that the Marriott chairman J.W. Marriott Jr., is currently a Seventy, in one of the other quorums(3-5) and an Area President in an area that includes Virginia. He spoke at a Stake Conference there earlier this year, bragging how proud he was to be a Mormon, because the Mormon Church has never been involved in any scandals. LOL!! Now that's a good one, a real leg slapper. Also, the BYU business school is named the Marriott School of Management.

So, what a surprise, that Hinckley once again, in the last General Conference, was being a hypocritical Mormon General Authority, speaking about the perils of pornography, while he pockets money that comes directly from it. Actually, it really isn't a surprise at all and we should all be getting used to it by now.

I guess that Hinckley never said that you couldn't profit from it, just don't look at it, right? Sorry, trying to see what it would feel like for a second to be a pathetic Mormon Apologist. It's kind of like, "it's okay for alcohol to be sold in their malls, as long as they don't own the physical property where the alcohol is being sold." It's under their roof but somebody else's land. Yeah, yeah, wink, wink, we see how you work. Do as we say, not as we do once again!! Damn Mormon cult!!

Here was another classic post that I did not too long ago about Orrin Hatch and his hypocrisy. Isn't it wonderful, just wonderful?!!

Benjamin Ellsworth, A Mormon Missionary, Tragically Killed In Argentina!!

***Update April 24, 2006*** Sadly, another missionary was killed in Argentina, yesterday. I wanted to post this most current link, regarding Matthew Turley of Ridgefield, Connecticut, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver yesterday. This link includes the story being run by KSL, owned by the Church, as well, as the original story that ran in Argentina, in San Luis, the city where he was killed. I realize that most people searching for this story, will find this page, on the tragic death of Benjamin Ellsworth's death. Here is a link to my mission memoriam page, that will sadly and tragically, have one more name on it now.***

I don't have the time right now to comment on everything that comes to my mind and I will do that later, but I wanted to thank Captain Jack for sending me the links and info about this poor missionary that so tragically died this past Friday. I first read about it on RFM on Sunday, right after it was posted. I immediately did Google and MSN searchs, along with KUTV, KTVX, KSL, all TV stations here in Utah and Nothing. Then I searched the Church's website, Deseret News, Salt Lake Tribune and nothing. The only thing I could find was the missionary that died in a train accident in 2003, so I thought maybe the person was confused on RFM.

***Update*** I did another post for Benjamin Ellsworth, with his actual obituary and a link to his guestbook. I encourage everyone that has a few minutes, to please say some kind words to his Family, that must be suffering terribly.

Anyway, today, I got the Email from Captain Jack and it was sadly true, a Mormon missionary did indeed die. Everytime I hear of a missionary dying, I realize that it could have easily been me that had died while on my mission. I want to post the news story from the Arizona newspaper, plus the Argentina newspaper and then some comments by his uncle, Matt Ellsworth. I just wanted to put it all in one place for you guys to come to. If I find more stories on it, I will post them as well, especially if the Mormon Church ever manages to make a statement.

But,
as Captain Jack points out, along with others, it's amazing how the Mormon Church covers this stuff up for as long as the can. It's also amazing that the story broke in an Arizona newspaper and through this poor boys Uncle and an Argentine Newspaper while nothing in Utah, the Vatican of Mormonism. This poor missionary died on Friday. You don't think that the Mormon Church knew about this immediately? Of course they did!!

But, as is pointed out, it isn't faith promoting, so why report it. Now if some famous dude, like Dennis Rodman, got baptized today, the Church would be screaming it from their steeples, the second that it happened, wouldn't they? Just my opinion of course. Like has been said, I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Anyway, here are those stories, the first one from the
Boy's Uncle, then the Arizona Newspaper and then the Buenos Aires Newspaper, for you Spanish speakers.

An ExPat Death in the Family

I was out of the loop for the last few days because of the sudden death of a nephew. He was a missionary in Argentina, and he was killed when he slipped while trying to hop onto a slow-moving freight train to save a few pennies and hurry to an appointment. I have been consoling my brother and his family and adding what advice I can about the death of a family member far from home. Not wanting to scare anybody, I must say that such things happen frequently enough that a little information about how expat deaths are handled could be useful, to you or for a friend.

Fortunately for my brother, his son has concerned and capable friends and helpers in Argentina. They will see to it that the body is prepared for burial and shipping, and that it gets sent home as soon as possible. If it should happen, God forbid, that a member of your family should die while living overseas, you should hope that they are well connected to a capable support structure. In fact, if you have family overseas, advise them to consider this possibility now. My son who is now in Cambodia recently became very ill with a virus and was hospitalized. Had he died, we would have been completely dependent on his circle of friends, and we're not even sure that they know how to contact us.

Insurance companies, in settling life insurance claims, prefer original death certificates. In this case it means that my brother will have to get a copy of the record of death from central Argentina and get a notarized translation from a
reputable translator. This is another reason to make sure that you have channels of communication with someone other than your family member--a point of contact in an emergency.

If your family member dies overseas without this kind of support, contact your Embassy and alert them. Give them all the particulars. Ask for their help. See if they can handle the preparation of the body for shipping. They are likely to ask for a credit card number from you, and you will be responsible for all costs. They may simply give you numbers of mortuaries in the area. You will be grieving. Maybe a friend can handle some of these calls and details for you.

I'm sorry to share even a portion of our grief with you on a topic that you might not want to consider, but then, my brother never thought he'd be dealing with it now.

Missionary from Mesa dies in Argentina accident
By Lawn Griffiths, Tribune
December 6, 2005

Benjamin Ellsworth
A Mormon missionary from Mesa, who trained eight months in the U.S. Marines before taking a two-year leave to go on his church mission, was killed Friday in a train accident in Rosario, Argentina.

Benjamin Ellsworth, 19, a 2004 graduate of Mountain View High School, died when he fell while getting onto a train and was pulled under it, said his father, Cory Ellsworth of Mesa. The accident occurred about 12:30 p.m. as the two missionaries were going to their appointments with church members and prospects.

In the conversation with the mission president in Argentina, Cory Ellsworth said it appeared the pair had tried to catch a ride on a slowmoving freight train when Benjamin fell under it and was killed. His missionary companion from Utah witnessed the accident.

"He was just an outstanding young man," said Terry Turk of the Mesa East Stake, calling it "just a terrible accident."

Ellsworth reported on his 19th birthday, June 22, to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, and arrived in Argentina in August. He had completed about 5 1 /2 months of his two-year mission.

After high school, Ellsworth wanted to be both a Marine and a missionary, his father said. "The Marines are the only branch of the service that allows you to sign up and go through basic training and combat training, then jump out and serve your mission." He became a lance corporal and was in the Marine Reserves with a five-year commitment after he completed his mission.

Cory Ellsworth said his son’s mission president in Argentina had met with Benjamin the day before the tragedy and reported the young missionary "had great light in his eyes, he was happy and worthy, and everybody loved him, and he was doing all the right things."

The senior Ellsworth, calling his son "extremely funloving," said he played the piano, enjoyed basketball, "was very gracious and he was full of smiles and hugs."

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Mesa East Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2228 E. Brown Road, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his parents, Cory and Amy Ellsworth; siblings Ethan, Atley, Emily, Cade and Colby; and grandparents Bob and Jeri Bowden and Carrie Ellsworth, all of Mesa.

This is so sad. It's a good thing that the Mission President met with him the day before, so that he could report that the missionary was happy and WORTHY. I'm guessing that comment was for the Mormon community that automatically assumes that he must have been sinning, therefore didn't have the protections of his Garments or God. If people are actually worried about whether this poor missionary was "WORTHY" or not, and I'm sure that many people are, then shame on them and get a damn life.

But, that's how things work in the disfunctional Mormon cult, nicknamed "Mormonism" or "The Church of Jesus Christ." I remember hearing more than once, in my wards, when a missionary died, that he was "out after hours", "broke the rules", etc. "If only he had obeyed the rules, he'd still be alive", they would say. I remember thinking to myself, "yeah, what a shame that he was disobedient and it cost him his life." I actually used to repeat these FPRS(Faith Promoting Rumors) to other people, to stress the importance of the "exact obedience", that the Church preaches, especially to Missionaries.

I remember the final advice from my Brother-in-law, right before my mission; "EXACT OBEDIENCE." He said that way, the Lord would be able to give me all of the blessings that were waiting for me and protect me from harm. I talked about it all the time in my mission journals and it was reinforced in every pathetic mission conference by my leaders. Of course, I no longer speak to this pathetic jerk(BIL), who still has his head so far up Hinckley's a$$, that he would never, ever, under any condition, put his Family first.

I could write a 100 page post on just him, but I'll spare you the details. I think you get the picture. He's as "brainwashed and TBM", as anyone could ever be. If Hinckley wanted his 12 year old daughter for marriage and sex, she would be on the next flight out, no questions asked. He would "know it was from God." He would give his life in less than a second, if so required by his Bishop or a leader of the Church. Sad, isn't it? I fully expect him to be a GA someday, as he fits the perfect description of what they are looking for.(ASS kisser!!)

Well, He almost fits the perfect description, I should say, as his kids are about to go down some bad paths, due to rebellion against the intense psychologicial and emotional abuse that goes on within their home. This is due, of course, to the intense repression that they suffer through on a daily basis, due directly to the Mormon Church and their teachings. My BIL isn't extreme, in the Churches eyes, rather, he is exactly what the Church preaches we should be like, that's all. He's the perfect Morgbot!!

Now, regarding this missionary, I have to wonder three things? Did the Mission President really meet with him the day before the tragedy? Why was there a money problem that forced the missionaries to "to hop onto a slow-moving freight train to save a few pennies and hurry to an appointment", as reported by his Uncle? This clearly points out that missionaries are not given enough money by the Church to live sufficiently, despite the fact that their Parents, or Family, are paying $400/month. My guess, is that they get $200-$250/month.

Also, my third question is; will the Church pay for all of the arrangements to have him sent home, or will the Family have to flip the bill? I'm guessing, from what I know, that it will be the later. I'm sure the Church will handle it and then hand the Family the bill, on the day of his funeral. Yes, they are indeed that heartless and cold!! I'll try to add more later when I have more time as I have many thoughts regarding this whole situation.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Benjamin Ellsworth's Family, realizing that my own Family came very close to going through the same pain and loss. It's truly a tragedy and something that nobody should have to suffer through.

I'm sure the Mormon line on this, to his Family, will be, "He died doing what he loved, in the service of his Lord", "He's in a better place now", "The Lord needed him on the other side" and finally, "He's continuing his missionary efforts in the spirit world, converting people there."

All of this is fine, may make his Family feel better, but the bottom line is, in my opinion, he should still be here and was needed much more here, by Family, Friends and loved ones, than anyone could ever need him on the other side. That doesn't even make sense to me and never has. He had his whole life ahead of him and now he's gone. Again, my heart goes out to his Family and loved ones and I wish them the very best in this very difficult time. Anyone that is reading this, please keep his Family in your mind, thoughts or prayers, as they need so much comfort and love, during their time of such great sadness and personal tragedy.
