Well guys and gals, friends, fellow Ex-Mormons, those currently researching, TBMS and TBM trolls, I just felt the need to write this post to thank all of you for the success of what I'm trying to do here on Mormon Truth. I know that we've been able to help countless people. We are now over 25,000 page views since August and we continue to grow and increase each month. I thought December was awesome, but January blew it away. The only month that we've had any decrease was in November, due to the Holidays and Thanksgiving I'm sure. Then in December, we bounced back big time and even better in January. Let's keep it going and increasing our visitors each and every month so that this year is awesome. The more people that know the truth, the more people we can free from the grips of the Mormon cult.I've had several of you Email me to say that you have shared this website with many friends and family members and maybe one day, they will thank you. I've also received a few emails from those of you that once hated this site; you thought it was too hardcore, went elsewhere to search for your answers, found the truth and now you are back and love my site, while now sharing my passion and you tell me to keep the passion going. I say to these people, thank you and welcome back and please spread the word.
I think it is so funny that people question my motives, why I'm doing this and how many are convinced that I left for some grievous sin or to hang out in crack/whore houses, become a criminal, etc. Like one person said to me yesterday, that is experiencing similar treatment from his TBM friends and family:
"All of those that write you hate mail are afraid of the truth. They have been told all their lives not to look into the secrets of the church. They have to conclude that we are sinners, offended, or weak. I have heard these explanations of my leaving the church for 10 years now. It is an insult. If I truly believed that I was going to be damned for leaving the church, would I have left? It was the most important thing in my life. Would I leave all that because I wanted to have sex or wanted to have a drink. It is a slap in the face that they would think that I have so little intellect or control that I would walk away from salvation for some personal gratification."
All I can say is, that is the perfect statement, expressing perfectly, how so many of us feel, when we are unrighteously judged by our supposed "Christian/Mormon" friends and family. Don't they get it? Can't they open up their brainwashed minds for just one second and realize that the person that they have loved, trusted and respected, for their whole life, hasn't gone off the deep end?
Can't they realize that we just discovered things that intellectually and emotionally, we can't cope with anymore; that we discovered the truth? Can't they see how hypocritical it is for them to cast such awful judgments upon us without listening to a thing we are trying to say, while calling themselves Christians and believing that they will be Gods and Goddesses someday?
This my friends, is a very powerful example and tells us just how powerful and evil, the Mormon cult machine really is. The very fact that our leaving, causes our loved ones, friends and family, to now assume that we are now suddenly whoremongers, drug addicts, criminals, sex fiend, etc, shows how they are programmed from the day they are born to judge and mistreat others.
The Mormon Church is a very evil cult that preaches complete intolerance to anybody outside of their faith, let alone, somebody that was in the faith and then has chosen to leave, for their own reasons. They cause family and friends to turn against each other over history and doctrines that the Mormon Church won't even discuss. They involve Bishops, who are supposed to be "inspired of God", telling wives and husbands to leave each other, when one has left the Church. These supposed men of God, have no more inspiration or authority, than anybody else.
They say that they are a Church of "eternal families" and "families can be together forever" but they leave out the part that that can only happen if they all believe in the Mormon Church and are active and faithful temple recommend holders. In other words, unless we are part of "Gods Celestial Country Club", knowing all of the handshakes and tokens, plus willing to pay several thousand dollars a year for membership, we aren't welcome.
Even worse, if we try to get others to leave, or join a different country club, we will one day be destroyed and live in outerdarkness. Who wants to associate with such evil people, right? I guess it's not hard to see what an awful picture the Mormon Church paints, of those of us that see right through their charade.
As Boyd K. Packer says, "Remember: when you see the bitter apostate, you do not see only an absence of light, you see also the presence of darkness. Do not spread disease germs." As the anti-Mormon that I am, I always think of their evil, darkness and "disease germs" when I see the title of an April 2005 conference talk, Beware of the Evil behind the Smiling Eyes by Elder Neil L. Andersen. What a clever play on words, to make everyone think he was talking about us, and not themselves.
Now, just as a quick review, to help further drive home my point; here is question #6 from the temple recommend interview, which supports every word of this post:
6. Do you affiliate with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or do you sympathize with the precepts of any such group or individual?
You have to answer NO to that question, to get one of these:
So, what this really means, is that if you are a TBM, with a temple recommend, you now have to choose between your eternal life and associating with your son, daughter, mother,father,brother, sister, etc. You can no longer associate with your loved ones or best friend of over 30 years, which has personally happened to me.
What kind of disgusting organization, let alone a Church, would put anyone in this type of impossible situation?
Well, it's clearly not a Church, it's a horrible, evil cult!! That is what cults do!! They cut you off from your friends and family and discourage any contact with them, for fear of you being brought to your senses or reality.
I can't think of any other Church, that I'm aware of, that creates this type of nonacceptance, intolerance, hatred or disdain between family members. I'm not speaking of the other cults(Churches) out there, but the mainstream, truly Christian Churches. Wasn't it Jesus that taught acceptance and love, of everybody?
If the Mormons believe so much in Jesus Christ, and even name their Church after him, then why don't they preach and practice this very simple, basic teaching and follow his example? This is just another example of why Mormons aren't Christians and believe me, there was a time when I never could of dreamed of saying such blasphemy, but it's true. They are the furthest thing from being Christian that I've ever personally known.
Now, just to clarify, so I don't get 100 hatemails, I'm not referring to the average, faithful, innocent Mormon, who believes that they are Christian, just for their belief in Jesus. They are indeed Christian, but they just don't know that their Church isn't.
They are all innocent victims of the Mormon cult, brainwashed from birth. They get insulted when people say they aren't Christian, because they believe they are. However, just because you put the name of Jesus Christ in the title of your Church, doesn't make it Christian, does it? Especially when your behavior toward members and others, especially non-cult members, is as un-Christ-like as it can get.
So what is it that the Mormon Hierarchy is so afraid of? Why are they so terrified of one of their members "associating with or sympathizing with" someone that opposes the views and teachings of the Mormon cult? Well, when you know that you are a fraud, with a closet full of skeletons, lies and deceptions, going back to 1820, you'd better be afraid, very afraid.
These good, faithful members, might just discover the "real truth" and that truth may set them free, thus having a negative impact on their tithing and fast offerings. It's all about the bottom line and their money and nothing else, that is what they are concerned about. How sad and pathetic!!
If the Mormon Church is so true, then what are they so afraid of, right? If the Church is so true, in fact, the "only true and living Church on the whole face of the earth" (D&C 1:30) then everything that people study and learn about Mormon history and doctrine, past and present, should only strengthen their testimonies, but that obviously isn't the case, is it?
Let's reflect on what former Mormon Apostle, Orson Pratt had to say regarding the Church and more specifically, the Book of Mormon. Then I'll share Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland's remarks, and finish up with Hinckley, the grand-poo-papa. These comments should leave you no doubt as to the Mormon's claim of absolute truth and why they are so terrified of those of us that know the real truth:
This book must be either true or false. If true, it is one of the most important messages ever sent from God . . . If false, it is one of the most cunning, wicked, bold, deep-laid impositions ever palmed upon the world; calculated to deceive and ruin millions . . . "The nature of the message in the Book of Mormon is such that, if true, no one can possibly be saved and reject it, if false, no one can possibly be saved and receive it. . . .
"If, after a rigid examination, it be found an imposition, it should he extensively published to the world as such. The evidence and arguments upon which the imposture was detected should be clearly and logically stated, that those who have been sincerely, yet unfortunately, deceived may perceive the nature of the deception, and be reclaimed, and that those who continue to publish the delusion may be exposed and silenced, not by physical force, neither by persecutions, bare assertions, nor ridicule, but by strong and powerful arguments--by evidences adduced from scripture and reason . . .
"But on the other hand, if investigations should prove the Book of Mormon true . . . the American and English nations should utterly reject both the Popish [i.e., Roman Catholic] and Protestant ministry, together with all the churches which have been built up by them or that have sprung from them, as being entirely destitute of authority." Good to know that the Mormons are so accepting and loving of other religions, right? Yeah, yeah, bring your good and we'll see if we can simply add to it. (Hinckley) What good? They are all abominable, right!! Orson Pratt, was just simply reflecting the First Vision message, that all other Churches are wrong and abominations, and that their professors(preachers) are corrupt.
Now, let's also reflect on the words of Jeffrey R. Holland:

A good deal has been said about the authorship—and, therefore, the divine origins—of the Book of Mormon. But then there has always been a lot said about it ever since it first rolled off the old E. B. Grandin press in downtown Palmyra, New York, on the 26th of March, 1830.
Let me quote a very powerful comment from President Ezra Taft Benson, who said, “The Book of Mormon is the keystone of [our] testimony. Just as the arch crumbles if the keystone is removed, so does all the Church stand or fall with the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. The enemies of the Church understand this clearly. This is why they go to such great lengths to try to disprove the Book of Mormon, for if it can be discredited, the Prophet Joseph Smith goes with it. So does our claim to priesthood keys, and revelation, and the restored Church. But in like manner, if the Book of Mormon be true—and millions have now testified that they have the witness of the Spirit that it is indeed true—then one must accept the claims of the Restoration and all that accompanies it.
“Yes, the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion—the keystone of our testimony, the keystone of our doctrine, and the keystone in the witness of our Lord and Savior” (A Witness and a Warning, Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1988, p. 19).
To hear someone so remarkable say something so tremendously bold, so overwhelming in its implications, that everything in the Church—everything—rises or falls on the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and, by implication, the Prophet Joseph Smith’s account of how it came forth, can be a little breathtaking. It sounds like a “sudden death” proposition to me. Either the Book of Mormon is what the Prophet Joseph said it is or this Church and its founder are false, fraudulent, a deception from the first instance onward.
Not everything in life is so black and white, but it seems the authenticity of the Book of Mormon and its keystone role in our belief is exactly that. Either Joseph Smith was the prophet he said he was, who, after seeing the Father and the Son, later beheld the angel Moroni, repeatedly heard counsel from his lips, eventually receiving at his hands a set of ancient gold plates which he then translated according to the gift and power of God—or else he did not. And if he did not, in the spirit of President Benson’s comment, he is not entitled to retain even the reputation of New England folk hero or well-meaning young man or writer of remarkable fiction. No, and he is not entitled to be considered a great teacher or a quintessential American prophet or the creator of great wisdom literature. If he lied about the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, he is certainly none of those.
I feel about this as C. S. Lewis once said about the divinity of Christ: “I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: [that is,] ‘I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.’ That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to” (Mere Christianity, New York: Macmillan Publishing Co., 1952, pp. 40–41).
I am suggesting that we make exactly that same kind of do-or-die, bold assertion about the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the divine origins of the Book of Mormon. We have to. Reason and rightness require it. Accept Joseph Smith as a prophet and the book as the miraculously revealed and revered word of the Lord it is or else consign both man and book to Hades for the devastating deception of it all, but let’s not have any bizarre middle ground about the wonderful contours of a young boy’s imagination or his remarkable facility for turning a literary phrase. That is an unacceptable position to take—morally, literarily, historically, or theologically.
As the word of God has always been—and I testify again that is purely and simply and precisely what the Book of Mormon is—this record is “quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow” (D&C 6:2). The Book of Mormon is that quick and it is that powerful for us. And it certainly is that sharp. Nothing in our history and nothing in our message cuts to the chase faster than our uncompromising declaration that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. On this issue we draw a line in the sand.
May I make it very clear where I stand regarding Joseph Smith, a stance taken because of the Book of Mormon. I testify out of the certainty of my soul that Joseph Smith entertained an angel and received at his hand an ancient set of gold plates. I testify of that as surely as if I had, with the three witnesses, seen the angel Moroni or, with the three and the eight witnesses, seen and handled the plates.
It was the Book of Mormon that changed my life, told me the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, and immersed me in the Church, heart and soul. I hold it in a category sacred to me among all the world’s literature. It stands preeminent in my intellectual and spiritual life, the classic of all classics, a reaffirmation of the Holy Bible, a voice from the dust, a witness for Christ, the word of the Lord unto salvation.
Now, lets bring it home with the current, amazing, "only one earring in each ear", drum roll please, Prophet of the whole earth, for Jesus Christ, the man who communes with Jehovah, but can't predict Tsnami's or Hurricanes, Gordon B. Hinckley:
Here are the quotes. This first one is from the Gordon B. Hinckley speech, “The Marvelous Foundation of Our Faith,” Ensign, Nov. 2002, 78:
We declare without equivocation that God the Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, appeared in person to the boy Joseph Smith.
When I was interviewed by Mike Wallace on the 60 Minutes program, he asked me if I actually believed that. I replied, “Yes, sir. That’s the miracle of it.”
That is the way I feel about it. Our whole strength rests on the validity of that vision. It either occurred or it did not occur. If it did not, then this work is a fraud. If it did, then it is the most important and wonderful work under the heavens.
Now from Gordon B. Hinckley's speech, “Loyalty,” Ensign, May 2003, 58
Now may I say a word concerning loyalty to the Church.
We see much indifference. There are those who say, "The Church won't dictate to me how to think about this, that, or the other, or how to live my life."
No, I reply, the Church will not dictate to any man how he should think or what he should do. The Church will point out the way and invite every member to live the gospel and enjoy the blessings that come of such living. The Church will not dictate to any man, but it will counsel, it will persuade, it will urge, and it will expect loyalty from those who profess membership therein.
When I was a university student, I said to my father on one occasion that I felt the General Authorities had overstepped their prerogatives when they advocated a certain thing. He was a very wise and good man. He said, "The President of the Church has instructed us, and I sustain him as prophet, seer, and Revelator and intend to follow his counsel."
(Keep in mind now that he is speaking of people being obedient to him, Gordon B. Hinckley, who is now the Mormon Prophet, Seer and Revelator. So he is telling people to be obey him and anything that he might say. That my friends is a cult leader, plain and simple!!)
Then he said:
Each of us has to face the matter—either the Church is true, or it is a fraud. There is no middle ground. It is the Church and kingdom of God, or it is nothing.
In Gordon B. Hinkley's, “My Testimony,” Ensign, Nov. 1993, 51, he said the following:
I thank my Father in Heaven for the testimony I have of the reality of the First Vision. I have stood among the trees where Joseph knelt as a boy, and heard the whisperings of the Spirit that it happened as he said it happened. I have read the words of critics, who from 1820 until now have tried to destroy the validity of that account. They have made much of the fact that there were several versions and that the account as we now have it was not written until 1838. So what?
So, as the Prophet Lehi taught, in the book of Mormon, we are free to choose "liberty and eternal life" or "captivity and death." (2 Nephi 2:27) Liberty and eternal life = being a faithful Mormon and obeying all the rules. Captivity and death = not being a Mormon or choosing not to be a Mormon, or heaven forbid, the most evil creature of all, is he or she that leaves the Mormon Church after having a testimony(based on fraud) and the full light. In other words, we have now officially denied the Holy Ghost and have chosen eternal captivity and death!!
So, you see, those that no longer want to associate with us evil, vile anti-Mormons, are simply on a quest for the "liberty and eternal life" in Mormon fantasy land, and are terrified of the "captivity and death" that may result from their association with us future sons/daughters of perdition.
Okay, now I understand, thanks a lot Lehi for clearing that up!! Ya da fairly tale man!! Good thing they protect those innocent Saints though, from the truth and forbid them from associating with us; I wouldn't want to cause anyone to lose their eternal life as it would eat at my conscience everyday as I rot in Eternal hell as a son of perdition. LOL!!
Anyway, thanks so much guys for all that you have done to make my/our efforts a growing success. We are all apart of it and our success is measured by how many people we are able to help escape the clutches of the Mormon cult or deal with their emotions after leaving. A lot of people out there are suffering and hurting, big time, after discovering the truth and they need our help, compassion, love and support. They most certainly won't get if from the places you would think they would be able to , under normal circumstances. As Holland says, the Mormon Church "draws a line in the sand" and you are either with them or against them.
A couple of months ago, I was motivated and inspired by the example of Hyrum and Mike, of the Church is not true, and John Dehlin, to also start the "Mormon Truth Podcast." So far, the results have been great and surprising, as I continue to get a ton of Emails, thanking me for my efforts and for my help. I couldn't do it without all of you and thank you for all of your support and positive comments.
I also want to give a special thanks and a big shout out to The Mormon Curtain owned and run by Infymus. (AKA Michael Hoenie) He really helped me to get the word out there by posting my writings and opinions, web address and then eventually, giving me my own subject heading. That meant a lot!!
Also, The Mormon Curtain, was instrumental in helping me to leave the Mormon Church. When I was first in the discovery process, I would spend countless hours, reading all of the different articles, information and personal experiences that are so nicely organized and easy to maneuver through. Thanks Michael for creating such a great place for people to become informed and search for their freedom. That place is a a fort Knox and wealth of knowledge. I know that he puts in a lot of time to do what he does and his efforts are greatly appreciated.
Now, last of all, I also want to thank RFM(recovery from Mormonism) for allowing me to post there as long as I did, while sharing my Mormon Truth web address. Many emailed me, amazed that they allowed me to do it at all since RFM claims to be against any so called anti-Mormon activists.(Even though they have several famous ones, right in their midst) They normally frown on people giving links to their sites, unless they are the celebrities of RFM. So, I guess I got lucky somehow.
After being censored on numerous occasions, for not being politically correct, or too much of an activist or giving shout outs to other so called activists, like Mike and Hyrum and their podcast, while allowing their favorite celebrities to run roughshod and blatantly break every rule; it was time for me to exit stage left and focus on doing my own thing without the all to familiar censorship of my former Mormon life. Leaving RFM and not posting there anymore, was the best thing I ever did. It freed up my time to really help people and those that really wanted my help, instead of going in circles with the same old, same old.
Also, Susan's big Email battle with Infymus and the Mormon Curtain, just proved to me that RFM was more out for their own glory, than truly helping other people learn the truth of Mormonism. Instead of trying to work with him, they basically condemned his site and his using of posts from RFM, which disappear now within 10 days; it used to be 15 but due to ever decreasing space, they had to drop it to 10.
That just shows that they don't give a damn over there and Infymus is the one that really cares, documenting great stuff everyday, that won't exist in 10 days. They should have been thanking him, not criticizing him and threatening him with make believe lawyers that were mad one second and laughing the next.(according to Susan's Emails)
Yes, RFM, does document stuff and has quite a few things in their archives that I wrote, but what they archive is minuscule, compared to what Infymus archives. Infymus has unlimited space and they are just jealous of his efforts and success, plain and simple.
Instead of combining with others for the greater good of helping others being the main goal, they condemn people like myself, Infymus, Mike, Hryum, etc. I didn't intend to get into this, but it needs to be said again, as I reflect on my path to the truth and what has transpired the last 6 months. The whole RFM deal was a big part of why this blog and my podcast exist today. Even out of the Church, in a place that is supposedly for people recovering from Mormonism, I couldn't recover properly. It was like joining some other cult where they set the rules and played God.
I guess that they just can't shake that need to censor and control people and their words and they seem to be terrified of the Mormon Church suing them. I guess that paranoia also comes from being a Mormon and it is hard to shake. If it hadn't been for the ridiculous hypocrisy that existed there, I would have remained, from time to time, at least continuing to help people with links to what they are looking for, etc.
To be honest, that was one of my favorite things; to help others find what they were looking for and providing people the links that they needed. In my opinion, when they lost me, they lost more than just a poster. I really and sincerely, wanted to help people and cared, that is what they lost. They'd rather have people like Steve Benson blasting the hell out of innocent posters and insulting everyone he could as often as he could. Just not my cup of tea...LOL!!
I guess I quickly outgrew my surroundings and felt like I was locked in a cage again, after just leaving one. Thus the birth of my blog and now my podcast and tremendous freedom to say and share whatever I please in a non-censored environment. So, I thank RFM as it was a necessary stage for me to go through and it gave me a platform and place to share my strong views of how I felt and to express myself. Anyway, it is in the past now and a place that I won't return to, due to the reasons already stated. I honestly don't know how people can keep posting there for years?
Ultimately, I didn't really feel welcome there anymore or that I could be a part of whatever they were trying to accomplish. I'm glad that they exist and that they help so many people, but it isn't for me and isn't my style. I need my absolute freedom, after being repressed for so long, plain and simple.
In the meantime, I've found better, deeper places where I can share my views, without being censored, from time to time and get great, insightful comments in return. Dr. Shades Mormon Discussion board is the best uncensored board there is. You can talk about anything you want in anyway you want without being censored. It was the first place I went to after leaving RFM, at the personal invite of Dr. Shades and it was such a breath of fresh air after RFM.
I also like the Post Mormon Recovery Board as a great place, where very educated and informed people hang out and discuss things in a more serious way when needed. There is still plenty of humor to be found there. Sadly, with my own blog and now podcast, along my attempt to also live my life, I have very little time to participate much in these places even though I really do enjoy the exchange of expressions of thought with others. I plan on being able to do that soon on my podcast with many of you. But, at least I have great places to go when I do have the time or something big to report or a new discovery.
So, in closing(sounds like I'm giving a talk in sacrament meeting...Ha ha!!) I want to thank everyone that has helped me to be where I'm at, by sharing with me your stories, knowledge, experiences and pain. This blog is a cumulative and collaborative effort of many people. Thank you for letting me know that I've helped you and thank you for helping me s much in the process. You guys are awesome!!

Maybe my anger, occasional swear words or manner of delivery is too much for some of you, maybe you don't like what I'm saying, but you should probably move on if that is the case; but hopefully one day, you will make your way back with more understanding and understand my anger and frustration a little better as some have already done.
Some people reading this are in transition right now, just beginning there journey, or in the middle of their journey. Some of you are just innocent, true-believing, faithful members, unknowing members, that have no idea you've been lied to and duped for your entire life. I feel especially bad for you because I was once there myself about 10 months ago.
Some of you know the truth but refuse to accept it and fight people like me, calling us liars, sons of perdition, adulterers, etc, because you can't accept that you've been duped. I challenge you to try to redirect your anger toward those that deserve it, your cult leaders.
Some of you most likely know the truth (Daniel Peterson-Farms, John Lynch-Fair) but make a very concerted effort in publicly defending the Church, mocking anyone that criticizes it, while working for Farms(BYU) or Fair, even though you know that there really aren't any legitimate, common sense answers to the hard questions. You even attack the people like me, also accusing them of being horrible sinners.
You guys are nothing more than cronies and toys of the Prophet and First Presidency and Apostles, that's it. I'm not sure how you can look in the mirror and be proud of what you are doing. If you truly do believe, after seeing all of the evidence and facts, then I just plane feel sorry for you.
I guess the only slack that I can give you guys that do this, is that you don't want to lose your jobs and careers, which you would if you came clean. Other than that, you guys are despicable, as you only help to perpetuate the fraud by continuing to lie to the innocent, faithful members that are only seeking the truth and you continue to lead them down the road of make believe.
I think that most of you that do this, have the credentials to get another job, that would probably pay even more, much more, than BYU or the Church. I believe that it's more than just the money though, it's also your love of the prestige, fame and ass kissing that you receive as a bonus for your efforts. You should all be ashamed of yourself!!
Yeah, especially you Daniel Peterson, you are a flat out embarrassment to any truth that exists in this world. He likes to initiate Email conversations with people, back and forth, were he mocks, makes fun of, personally accuses and attacks and then ultimately baits them into saying bad things, then he publishes the entire conversation on Shields to show everyone what scumbags us anti-Mormons are.
I've also published conversations that I've had with TBMS, but the difference is, I didn't initiate the dialog or the initial attack as Daniel Peterson does, rather I'm responding. The people that I respond to and post about, sought me out and attacked me. Daniel Peterson purposely seeks out people that he can try to embarrass by personally attacking them and then printing their pissed off responses. He then wonders why they get pissed off. Gee I wonder?!!
The guy is a complete unethical ASS, plain and simple. So, bring it on Danny boy, but don't be too disappointed when I don't respond and fall for your pathetic deceit. Of course, he would claim to be a good, ethical Christian/Mormon with his temple recommend in his hand, right? At least I've seen what he does, so I won't go down the same path of others and have him openly ridicule me.
At least he still has to commit to not violating his temple covenants in fear of the "judgments of God" and being threatened with "God will not be mocked." I wonder if he was disappointed that they removed the "naked touching" in January of 2005? I wonder how he justified that one? Who cares, the guys a complete joke and I couldn't care less about what degrees he decorates his walls with.
If he truly believes what he is saying, that the Church is true, that there is an explanation for everything, then he is one of the dumbest, highly educated men that I've ever heard of. You can be book smart, but unless you have common sense, it ain't gonna do you much good in this life, but it will make you into a perfect Mormon Apologist. Like I always say a lot, you can be book smart and life stupid, completely devoid of any common sense. That is the perfect definition of a Mormon Apologist.
Guys, again, thank you for everything, and let's look forward to another awesome 6 months and a great year. Great things are gonna happen and we are gonna be able to help a lot of people. I believe that every year, more and more people are gonna be leaving the Church. We'll never know how many, exactly, since they would never report that number, but as long as I'm playing a part in it, of helping to educate and free people from the Mormon fraud, then I fell fulfilled and my goals are being reached.

I've recently had conversations with 2 TBM friends, one who doesn't know my situation or feelings toward the Church and one who does. All I can say is, I'm so grateful that I no longer have to twist my brain into a pretzel to understand basic concepts of life and who I am. I can't believe that I was once them, a very short time ago. I can't believe that I had to throw out all logic, common sense and reasoning, in order to believe the basic precepts of the Church.
The sad thing is, that both of these guys are great guys, with great reasoning abilities, great common sense and intelligence, unless you are talking about Mormonism. I see my former self in them every time we talk and I honestly can't come to terms with the fact that they are what I used to be.
The crazy thing is that I used to question and wonder about things that didn't make any sense, but then I would either dismiss them outright or just find a way to rationalize them in my mind, while great deluding myself, to make them fall in line with Mormonism. After all, I thought, Mormonism is the only true Church on the face of the planet, so everything that I've ever been taught, has to make sense, I just don't understand it. How twisted is that?!!
I remember on my mission being taught that teachings of Mormonism are very advanced and very far above those of science and that one day science would catch up and they would be as one. Yea, looks like we might need to reverse that statement, but the difference is, Mormonism will never catch up to science. It gets left further behind with every discovery that is made. Isn't it amazing that Mormonism can take a very well respected, intelligent, logical person and make them look like a complete brain-washed dumb ass? That's what Mormonism does, it makes smart people look stupid!!
How refreshing it is to truly have freedom of thought and the ability and freedom to think on my own and in my own way about whatever I want, however I want. I no longer have to believe that the only way is the Mormon way, while dismissing every evidentiary fact along the way and trying to make everything fit into the box of Mormonism.
One day I'm going to do a post of all of the bizarre things that I once had to believe and/or dismiss, due to my Mormon beliefs. Now, everything is back on the table and it's exciting, fun and exhilarating. I no longer have to "throw out" ever scientific fact that is ever discovered, in order to make Mormonism jive.
It's really amazing what fun it can be to be able to think on my own, without having some pathetic old farts in Salt Lake, dead or alive, past or present telling me what I believe, how I believe and who I believe in.
I'm free from the shackles of Mormonism and thanks to all of you and your support, man, do I feel good!! Keep up the great work everyone and lets keep helping as many people as we can that desperately need our help!!
