Mormons Teach That You Are Better Off "DEAD" Than To Have Any Degree Of Sexual Relations Before Marriage!!
Now, to follow up my disturbing Temple Post from yesterday, I thought I'd share another very disturbing and very evil Church Doctrine. By the way, if you go to the Church museum in Salt Lake City, Utah, you will find a shrine to President Kimball with his book, "The Miracle of Forgiveness" taking center stage. It says something like, "this book has helped so many people around the world", etc. Of course it fails to mention the people that committed suicide after reading it and feeling completely worthless and hopeless.
In my opinion, that book, "The Miracle of Forgiveness", is one of the most evil books ever written, especially within the Mormon Church. I believe very strongly that that one book has done much more damage than it has ever done good. It has destroyed lives and families and continues to do so. It is the standard response from the Bishop to any horrible, sinning, fornicator or masturbator. It is nothing to be proud of and should be taken out of print and removed from display in the Churches Museum. The book is pure evil!!
I'm not sure who the last story came from but I found it somewhere on the Internet several months back and thought it was worth sharing. It is a perfect example of the fear mongering that the LDS Church participates in on a daily basis. This "better off dead" teaching is pure evil and the whole world should know what this damn Mormon cult has been teaching through the years and still is, by recommending such an evil book for people to read after committing some moral sin. It is a tragedy!! How could this so called "Church" teach something so hurtful and so evil. How do the General Authorities wake up in the morning and look at themselves in the mirror. It is becoming clearer and clearer to me that these men must not have any conscience whatsoever and are evil men destroying lives on a daily basis.
By the way, they have never rescinded these comments, never apologized for them and therefore stand by them to this day. Any doubt that this is an evil cult?
Here's what church leaders have said about death being better than experiencing sex before marriage:
"You will recall Alma’s teaching his son Corianton that unchastity is the most serious offense there is in the sight of God, except for murder or denying the Holy Ghost. (See Alma 39:5.) President Clark, in a conference address in October 1938, said: 'Chastity is fundamental to our life and to our civilization. If the race becomes unchaste, it will perish. Immorality has been basic to the destruction of mighty nations of the past; it will bring to dust the mighty nations of the present. You young people, may I directly entreat you to be chaste. Please believe me when I say that chastity is worth more than life itself. This is the doctrine my parents taught me; it is truth. It is better to die chaste than to live unchaste. The salvation of your very souls is concerned in this.' Now, my dear friends, we know there is nothing new in what we have said. These things are time-tested; they are true. To this we testify."
-LDS First Presidency Message "We Believe in Being Chaste," Ensign, Sept. 1981, 3
"Loss of virtue is too great a price to pay even for the preservation of ones life - better dead clean, than alive unclean. Many is faithful the Latter-day Saint parent who has sent a son or a daughter on a mission or otherwise out into the world with the direction: 'I would rather have you come back in a pine box with your virtue than return alive without it.'"
Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine (all editions), page 124.
President David O. McKay is quoted in Kimball's book as follows:
" . . . Your virtue is worth more than your life. Please young folk, preserve your virtue even if you lose your lives. Do not tamper with sin . . . do not permit yourselves to be led into temptation."
Heber J. Grant is also quoted in Kimball's book:
"...There is no true Latter-day Saint who would not rather bury a son or daughter than to have him or her lose his or her chastity -- realizing that chastity is of more value than anything else in all the world."
Later in the same book, President Kimball again addresses the matter of Chastity with the elsewhere mentioned paragraph:
"Also far-reaching is the effect of loss of chastity. Once given OR TAKEN OR STOLEN it can NEVER BE REGAINED. Even in forced contact such as rape or incest, the injured one is greatly outraged. IF SHE HAS NOT COOPERATED and contributed to the foul deed, she is of course in a MORE FAVORABLE position. There is no condemnation where there is NO Voluntary participation. It is BETTER TO DIE in defending one's virtue than to live having lost it without a struggle." (emphasis mine)
This "better dead than.." teaching has been around a long time in Mormon Seminary and Institute.
I feel sorry for the ignorant Mormons who believe it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was during the plane crash simulation. That long funky room with the accordion doors between the chapel and the gym represented the plane. The bishop announced the "plane" just crashed and made us think really hard about where we would end up that night if it were true. Then they sent the youth through the telestial kingdom, (the junior Sunday school room), the terrestrial kingdom, (the relief society/multipurpose room), and finally, voilĂ !, the celestial kingdom (the chapel).
We were told the telestial kingdom was as far as we could progress if we had had sex, and that our parents would rather have us DEAD than for us to lose our chastity. Girls were told to fight rapists to their DEATHS rather than lose their virginity.
In the terrestrial kingdom, we were told which lesser sins were allowed that would land us there.
In the celestial kingdom, our parents and families were secretly waiting for us for a surprise testimony meeting. That was how it would be--joining our loved ones in the CK if we didn't sin. Many tears were shed and wayward girls and boys were set straight and narrow again.
I remember being scared to death because I was going to end up in the telestial kingdom for masturbating.

I know the churs is true, not because somebody convince me but because I got the answer from Him who knows all. I am so sorry to see that your motives to do this are just a justification for doing what is appealing to the world, like free sex out of marriage and all that. I'm so sad for you because you could be enjoying life instead of being in front of a computer trying to make look bad something that won't end because is true. I hope that someday you think about the many lives you're influencing and that you remember how you feel when you prayed to know if this work is true. I know it is and I m grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, His atonement for me and great example of the kind of life I want to live and I'm grateful for this His church. I love the Prophet,I know he is a servant of Him, the King of Kings, no doubts in my heart, nor even with all the thin gs you have wasted your time on this page. My testimony comes from the fountain I won't be deceived.
Peace
Living a chaste life is possible. It is very difficult but one thing that god has given us is self control. Believe me i know the difficulty in living a moral life. And yes everybody makes mistakes, but the important thing is to repent, because "through christ are all things made alive." and then move on.

yeah, the hell with work and religion, let's just f@*K and play all day!
Samuel thank you for keeping the unsuspecting from being sucked into a cult. I'm not Mormon but I have seen other denominations destroy people. Like the saying goes "the Christian church is the only army that kills its wounded". Check out this power struggle here: http://www.voy.com/107476/ This Mark Warbinek guy (Mormon) damned me to hell because a friend of mine became a pot dealer and offered to front me lots of weed (I declined the offer and still got damned to hell!). People like that just suck! Anyway thanks again Samuel, Christ called us to be free, not grafted onto a False Prophet Smith. Loni
The message above from the person who is named Loni. Someone should remind him that any wickedness as very foul and vile words spoken in the name of Christ, and libel and false witness are considered as wicked works that God always condemns unless there is true repentance.
Therefore he condemned himself as he attempts to plaster his problems of relating to people, all over the Internet.
~Mark Warbinek
Mark Warbinek I've never heard an appology from you over your accusations I love the devil because I turned down an offer from an old friend that turned drug dealer. I hope everybody here can see that mormons like Mark Warbinek are not of any kind of loving God, they accuse, and use psychological control techniques like the Pattern and Double Bind to keep their little servants in-check. Well Mark, God loves me and there isn't anything you can do about it. WHEN FALSE PROPHETS ARE ACCEPTED BY THE LORD, THEN YOU AND THE MORMONS WILL BE.
To lonnie: It appears that you have some serious personal issues you need to fix. It is pretty bad that you think you have to attend other people's sites just so you can bitch about someone you dislike. You definitely need medical help.
Lonnie needs help Anon?
Rather than all the mormons who believe that an invisible man in the sky watches them masterbate, tells his prophets that you are better of dead than doing such immoral things.
Don't drink tea or coffee because of it's "evilness"
And of course, believe an adulterer, pedophile, liar, conman, murderer and god knows what else is the most holy man since Jesus?
More holy than jesus according to the man himself.
So, you tell me that Lonnie needs help?
I say you need help if you miss what Lonnie and Samuel are saying.
As do all mormons, they all need help.
If you don't like what Samuel is saying, then don't come here and read it. Seriously, how stupid are you?

Aha! Busted! Here's that mwarbinek, talk about family values; stinky lying snake Mark Warbinek sued his own family!
http://www.courts.gov.bc.ca/jdb-txt/sc/06/17/2006bcsc1728.htm
LOL! So Mark Warbinek, above, said "libel and false witness are considered as wicked works that God always condemns" - well what are you then Mark? are you the first God-invented Mormon "prophet" who's Testimony is that of being called "intentionally underemployed by your Canadian Supreme Court, because you obviously would rather live in a basement preaching to those condemened rodents while you rip off your kids and shirk your agreement to their well being?
http://www.courts.gov.bc.ca/jdb-txt/sc/06/17/2006bcsc1728.htm
Wow! After seeing that official Court document from the Canadian Supreme Court, I think you might be a Narcissist! You're saying Lonnie needs help? I think someone ought to knock some sense into your hateful Mormon ass, ya think?
The word of wisdom was based on problem about saints unable to purchase tea or coffee because the merchant denied service to "mormans" back in the day(read it somewhere from an internet site and verified the facts from the church history books). So Jesus Smith got annoyed and told everyone according to God tea and coffee is against the living commandments so the mormans stop pestering Smith. Golly, Smith used 'in the name of Jesus Christ' a plenty in his time to get away with sin. C'mon, TBM read your history! The bold truth is there. A prophet of God doesn't go around marrying other men's wives and teenagers. Especially destroying a printing press which is the greatest invention of all time besides the wheel. Jesus Smith acted like the Nazis who burnt great books and modern art. The closest man alive today to God is the Dali Lama and he's spiritual. I don't believe any man who had lived and lives today actually has spoken and seen God. Or visited by angels. The Kabalists believes they've seen angels but its unlikely. Anyways, Jesus Smith was an intelligent man and a great storyteller. Too bad he was influenced by religion and the occult otherwise he could've been as great as Jules Verne if science was there in his time to inspire him (there were a lot of ignorant/naive people in the 1800s).
AS FOR ME-- I DON'T HAVE THE STOMACH TO DEFEND A LIE.
Peace and love life the way God really wants as to live it: THE GOVERNMENT OWNS YOUR BODY. RELIGION HAS YOUR SPIRIT. BUT YOU HAVE YOUR MIND. THINK DAMN IT!
BTW-- Just a note: stop using aspartame.
Thank you.
Having read this blog post, that is one thing as to this persons beliefs. I can understand his upset.
But when I read the comments, that is where I see a lot of garbage that degrades this entire blog. It is obvious that those comments above were made to specifically attack another person on a personal level and the personal attacks have nothing to do with what this blog entry is about.
Everyone has problems in their lives, even Bible believers are in the same boat on that note. Just because a mormon has family issues does not make him a bad person. The majority of people in the world have suffered bad marriages, so what suddenly every person in the world that has marriage issues is a horrible person????
Certainly that has no reflection on whether a mormon is a bad person or not.
This is why I say that those idiotic comments above only lowers and degrades those who have issues against the Mormon church. Such comments as above by those who are making personal attacks against "warbinek" are shedding a very bad light upon those who have legitimate issues with the Mormon church. As I believe in the Bible, Christ clearly taught not to do evil to evil and these persons above are doing just that.
This blog is against mormon's and their doctrines. THis blog is not a "against warbinek" blog.
Grow up.
Hey Mark, you like dishing out lies and misrepresentations of other poeple, but you can't take a truthful examination yourself. It's here for all to see. Mark, Joseph Smith was convicted of fraud for glass looking, and four years later he produced the Book of Mormon using the same fraudulant means. Mark, no one cares if you want to believe a convicted con artist, but because you yourself TURNED INTO a con artist AFTER turning MORMON, then don't get mad if others put you under the same scrutiny you put others. Golden Rule pal. Loni
Anon, I think you might try putting magic rocks in a hat and reading the Book of Mormon that way LOL. Hey the author did LOL.
But seriously, you're saying it's perfectly okay to BOTH
1. Have marriage problems and sue your family?
2. Thunder your illegitimate dogma down on people who aren't in a cult like you are?
Deuteronomy 24:1-4
"For I hate putting away, saith Jehovah, the God of Israel" (ASV)
"For I detest divorce - said the LORD, the God of Israel" (NJPS)
'"I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel' (NIV)
"For I hate divorce, says the LORD, the God of Israel" (RSV; NRSV)
My point? Don't tell others what to do if you're doing what's hateful in God's sight. You either put up or shut up or both. You should just take your Mormon trash to your own place and live in that dump.
All I see here from the comments of these others is trash, and I am not even a mormon.
BS you're not a Mormon LOL who are you trying to kid?
Believe what you want, but I am not mormon and not a member of that church. Not everyone that posts a comment is mormon. So are you the one that posted the bashing trash comments above? Geeez, even I have respect for people.
No you said ALL the other comments are trash. So you're saying you're Super Special - well good for you and your ego. You ARE a Mormon because only mormons do that crap, sayi something and then deny it in the next sentence. So you're not mormon and ALL the other comments were trash. Ho hum (lol)
I guess you are the basher, who cannot read either, accusing everyone who does not agree with your tactics as mormons. I also clarified the trash as "bashing" and I'm sure intelligent people can tell the difference between bashing trash and good comments.
Do you read parts of a paragraph and create your own illusions or can you keep the attention span to actually read and comprehend?
As I said above, grow up.
sincerely --- "Not a mormon".
http://notamormon.blogspot.com/
PS. By the way, Samuel the Utahnite who owns this blog agrees with what I say. http://mormontruth.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
A good exmormon has better things to do than become a basher as yourself.
so I say, grow up.

I don't understand what your point is. The quotes that you have shown from Gordon Hinkely and other church leaders seems to show a church that took a stance at one point and then changed that stance. Other churches do that constantly. The quotes you have used show a church that promotes thinking, open mindedness, and anti-racism sentiment. They also seem to be heavily involved in humanitarian aide through out the world. So, then, what's your beef?

So why we get bashed so much? I mean, I'm normal, and YES I do lead a NORMAL life. Mormons are Christians, we love God, and we don't hate gays. Just because you don't like someones opinions or beliefs doesn't mean you hate them.
I'm sick of being put under the normal stereotype that Mormons are given, but I'm not sick of being a Christian. Our church does teach good values, we do, but the members of our church aren't perfect, and neither are anyone else's members. Our prophets are good men, and they have led, and continue to lead efforts for the good of mankind.
Thank you for listening
- Will
