Another Mormon "Whitewashing" Of True Book Of Mormon History!!
In the Saturday Morning General Conference, L. Tom Perry, one of the Mormon 12 Apostles, told the "Nephi cut off Laban's head story" but He left out the gory details and just said that Laban was delivered into Nephi's hands. He left out the part where Nephi said:
"Therefore I did obey the voice of the Spirit, and took Laban by the hair of the head, and I smote off his head with his own sword."
"And after I had smitten off his head with his own sword, I took the garments of Laban and put them upon mine own body; yea, even every whit; and I did gird on his armor about my loins"
Of course, somehow, the blood that would have been all over those clothes of Laban, disappeared. See, with the Mormon God, anything is possible. Also, the fact that Nephi was actually Joseph Smith in JS's mind, would explain why Nephi was so full of himself taking on his "every whit." I guess Nephi was as much of a con-artist for God as Joseph Smith was. It all makes sense now!! Lehi had 6 Sons....two were Joseph and Sam, Joseph Smith Sr. also had 6 kids, two of which were Joseph and Samuel. Joseph Smith Sr. had the dream about the "tree of life" in 1805, Lehi apparently had the same dream like 600 BC. They are of course, descendants of Joseph, Joseph Smith Sr. and Jr. What a bunch of coincidences?
But gee, I wonder why he left out the graphic, bloody details of Nephi killing Laban? Maybe because Nephi sounds like a modern day terrorist!! He did it in the name of God just like todays terrorists do it in the name of Allah or whoever they claim their God to be. As long as "God" approves the murder and it furthers "God's" purposes on earth, then that voice of "God" that they hear in their head telling them to do these heinous things, has to be just and right?
So, in summary, the Mormon hero, Nephi, was really nothing more than a terrorist for God, who heard voices in his head, telling him to kill King Laban!! What an example for kids to learn from eh? Yeah, what a hero!! Why would anyone want their children to grow up to idolize a murderer like Nephi?
This is just another example of how twisted Mormonism is and how they take things such as Nephi's murder of Laban and make it into something wonderful, just and from God. At least we know that Nephi and all the Book of Mormon gang didn't really exist but the problem is, the majority of Mormons, don't know that and want to be like these fictitious people, even murderers like Nephi. They teach their kids that Nephi was this wonderful, God-fearing man and a pillar of strength.
I wouldn't want my kids learning from these types of examples. My advice for L. Tom Perry and the rest of the gang of Nephi worshipers from Salt Lake, is the next time, tell the whole truth, the real story and see how people react!! Get into the graphic details. Explain how wonderful it was that Nephi cut off Laban's head when he was drunk, laying in the street. What are you so ashamed of that you once again have to "whitewash" the story, just like you do the entire history of the Church? I think we all know the answer to that one, isn't it obvious!!

So I guess Jonah was a liar too because he said he lived in the belly of a whale for several days.
what about Moses? he claimed to spli open an ocean. Hogwash! Nobody could do that! and the story told about Christ.... Raising Lasrus from the dead? Only an idiot would believe that possible. Medical proof shows that Lasrus couldn't have had all his organs function after being dead for so long. ( Tell us more
you super intelligent person."
It appears this form of behavior is very old and very native to the Middle East. It was known in Old Testament times and not surprising Nephi would do this.
Judges 5:26 (King James Version)
"She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples."
In fact, given how unusual beheading would be in the culture of 1820's America, it is yet one more piece of evidence, circumstantial I grant you, the Joseph Smith did indeed translate an ancient record.
Lehi had SIX sons? Can you name them?
Lehi's SIX sons: Laman, Lemuel, Nephi, Sam, Jacob, Joseph. Did I leave anyone out?
