David A. Bednar, Take A Bow, You Are Officially Crowned "The Kiss Ass Of The Century!!"

Lets take a closer look at our new junior Apostle. First of all there is a new Joseph Smith site that the Church has launched to tell all the world what a wonderful, monogamous man and Father he was.(In the search box, simply type POLYGAMY and report back HONESTLY how many items turn up...IT'S ZERO FOLKS!!) I'll be doing another post on this but as I just mentioned and proved...not one single mention of Polygamy or any of his other 32 or more wives!!

Not one mention of Joseph Smith struggling with Satan before the Father and Son appear changing the "official version" of the First Vision one more time. Well, all of the Apostles and First Presidency gave their testimony regarding Joseph Smith and here is the first line of Bednar's testimony: "As one of the weakest of the weak, I testify that God lives."

This is the same guy who kissed ass all the way to the top by naming a building at BYU Idaho after Gordon B. Hinckley?! Next thing you know, he's an apostle!! Coincidence? I think not!! Fact or Fiction? Sorry to say, it's all true!! He's bold and strong, does something that's never been done before, but he's one of the weakest of the weak?!! He's an Apostle of God, a special witness of Jesus Christ but he's one of the weakest of the weak?!! Whatever dude!!

Then he gives a ridiculous talk at BYU about the whole "two earrings" commandment by Hinckley. Yeah, it was only Hinckley's opinion but now, thanks to losers and kiss asses like Bednar, it's like a commandment, a revelation from God. In the same ridiculous speech, he tells the story of that guy who really loved that girl, thought he might even marry her but she wouldn't take out the second earring so he dumped her. He actually said that Gordon B. Hinckley was pleading with women to remove that second earring. Pleading, really?!! He made a simple statement of opinion, there was no pleading or revelation. It's all about power and control!! What a joke!!

But, then he says, "it wasn't ever about the earrings", it's about obeying the man named Gordon B. Hinckley, a "living oracle", Prophet, Seer and revelator. It's about obeying the little things so that you'll obey the big ones in the mind control cult!! The same man that couldn't detect that Mark Hoffman was a murderer, forger?!! Doesn't know anything about anything. Doesn't know if God was once a man or if the Church even teaches that? Doesn't know why people are gay or if they are born that way or not? Doesn't know why Blacks couldn't have the Priesthood? Never saw that Tsunami coming, did he? But he had Larry King's genealogy ready for him like the night before the Tsunami hit. Good thing God communicates to Gordo the important stuff and that we have stupid kiss asses like Bednar to back him up. Here's a link to the BYU talk for those that haven't had the "privilege" to listen to it:

Here is the part of the talk that I'm referring to:

Sister Bednar and I are acquainted with a returned missionary who had dated a special young woman for a period of time. This young man cared for the young woman very much, and he was desirous of making his relationship with her more serious. He was considering and hoping for engagement and marriage. Now this relationship was developing during the time that President Hinckley counseled the Relief Society sisters and young women of the Church to wear only one earring in each ear.

The young man waited patiently over a period of time for the young woman to remove her extra earrings, but she did not take them out. This was a valuable piece of information for this young man, and he felt unsettled about her nonresponsiveness to a prophet’s pleading. For this and other reasons, he ultimately stopped dating the young woman, because he was looking for an eternal companion who had the courage to promptly and quietly obey the counsel of the prophet in all things and at all times. The young man was quick to observe that the young woman was not quick to observe.

Now before I continue, I presume that some of you might have difficulty with my last example. In fact, this particular illustration of the young man being quick to observe may even fan the flames of controversy on campus, resulting in letters of disagreement to the Daily Universe! You may believe the young man was too judgmental or that basing an eternally important decision, even in part, upon such a supposedly minor issue is silly or fanatical. Perhaps you are bothered because the example focuses upon a young woman who failed to respond to prophetic counsel instead of upon a young man. I simply invite you to consider and ponder the power of being quick to observe and what was actually observed in the case I just described. The issue was not earrings!

A Prophet’s pleading? Are you kidding me? This Bednar character is one of the biggest kiss ass losers in the 12. He will do anything for Gordo, say anything, etc. I knew guys like this on my mission. We have so much to look forward to with this guy. I'm sure since he is only 53 and like 10 years younger than anyone else, he plans on being the Prophet someday but for now, kissing Hinckley's ass up one side and down the other will suffice. Keeping in mind that these jerks know the truth, and are basically being paid off(with their living allowances) to keep up the charade, perpetuating a fraud and we are supposed to think that he is really being humble?!! His statement is ironically true....he is the weakest of the weak!!

Whether he meant it that way or not, whether he was just trying to sound humble or referring to the Apostles and First Presidency, it doesn't change the truthfulness of the statement. Actually, he is the most pathetic of the pathetic, just like the rest of the Apostles and First Presidency!! For now, he just wants everyone to assume that he is this humble, very meek and weak man as people bow down to him and roll out the red carpet with his new calling as "Mormon royalty" while at the same time, telling women how many earrings they are allowed to wear.

He reminds me of a Mission President when a Seventy shows up, like a little lapdog. Give him a few years and he won't be pretending to be humble anymore!! He knows that if can simply outlive everyone else, he will indeed one day be the man with the checkbook and the man that all "TBM's" worship, stand-up for and praise in song, as the Prophet of God!!

I don't know that much about the Mormons but I do know that a person that requires physical proof to establish the truthfullness of a religous writing such as the Bible, Koran or Book of Mormon has missed the whole point of its creation. You are a bitter and misguided man when you make it your lifes mission tear down, demean and degrade fellow human beings. I truly feel sorry for you.

I don't know what happened but I do know that a follower of Christ would not be so hateful or vindictive. May you find peace in your sou.

Finally some posts that I agree with... It takes way to much energy to "twist" everything into something it is not. I am sorry for you and what has happened in your life that allows you to think that you are saving the free world.
Like he would be able to say that today we are going to name a building after the President and then make it happen. Yes, he was probably in on a meeting or 2 that was able to push it along but do you really think it was on his shoulders allow?

No need to respond to this comment cause I am sure that you have some twisting to do... do you have a real job? Oh sorry, that would require a reply.

like anyway, man this is crazy...

your quite right: men need to be kiss ass guys to get anywhere in this church, but you've neglected to mention why this is, can I tell you? its the BoM quotes saying that contentions are of the devil (can't remember where exactly, maybe it was D&C>???)
To avoid the appearance of 'contention' guys will always say 'yes sir' and kiss ass.
But are they right??? who know. I think that asking questions should always be allowed, but in this church if one goes to Stake Pres about a Bishop, they defend bishop even by saying 'he makes mistake like all of us' etc. If you right a letter to Salt Lake about a Stake President, then Salk lake just sends your letter back to your Stake President, so what good does it do?????

I really don't think you have read the Book of Mormon thoroughly. There are things in the Book of Mormon to prove every accusation you have is wrong. Don't you understand that people join the church because they believe in their heart that it is true? Not because they have been sold on it. I'm sorry about whatever hapened to you.
I beleive that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is True with everything I am. Not because I've been brain washed but because I can see a change for the better in my life since I have become an active part of it. It has shown me nothing but love, strength, truth, and mastery of self control. It has brought me so much joy and comfort. Its all about figuring it out for yourself... even members are urged to find "personal conversion". They aren't going to make you beleive... Its your choice. I can just tell you from experience that life is easier and more worth while when you're apart of it. Forgive me but this is where I might get a little mean. We all know that people who make fun of others and try to put them down are insecure. Its also very important that people back up accusations with facts not opinions or twisted Ideas...If you want to know about the church, read the book of mormon or visit www.lds.org don't let some deluded cynic ruin it for you... I'm sorry but I have to defend what I know is true in my heart otherwise what else is there to live for?

You know... I'm a 28 year old, mormon Woman. Born and raised in the church, attended BYU-Idaho, under the stewardship of Elder Bednar. I haven't gone to church in three years. I drink and I smoke. I do a lot of things that are wrong, according to the church. But I will defend this man.

Elder Bednar is a man of God. He speaks sincerely, from the heart, and that is truly enough for me. I know he is sincere, that he believes in God, and that, believe it or not, he gave up a very lucrative career in order to take the position as President of Ricks College, now BYU-Idaho. And why did he take it? Because the Prophet asked him. What an example of faith. Giving up a livlihood that he KNEW would provide for him, and then some, in order to do what he believes God wanted him to do!

That man helped me when I thought no one would. He gave me faith to keep living rather than killing myself. I was a student there at the time. I may not agree with everything the church says, I may not attend regular meetings, but I do believe that David A. Bednar is a Man of God.

I rebuke you for your incorrect statements. I don't know what happened to you to make you so bitter and angry towards the church, but I hope you can make your peace someday. Before it's too late.

In peace, my Brother.

There is a street in Ogden, Utah named after President Gordon B. Hinckley. Guess what...not one of the committee members, that pushed forward with this naming, have become apostles, a prisident of the Seventies, an area seventy, a member of the Office of the Presiding Bishoprick. I not up on how Ricks College became a 4 year university, but I'd bet my good boots that it was started before then president Bednar was asked and accepted the job.

You're a sad, sad, sad, poor little man. Your Stupidity is what makes you funny.

To all of the dumb shit losers that have commented on this post; you have your heads firmly planted right up your TBM asses!! My knowledge of the "real truth" of Mormonism is obvioulsy superior to what you think you know.

David A Bednar is a first class ASSHOLE and an arrogant prick. Anyone catch his brilliant "parable of the pickle" talk in the last General Conference. What a dumbass!! I bet you all sat there in amazement at his brilliance, showing your mentality level.

So TBMS, was it a direct command by Jesus Christ that women only wear one earring in each ear? So the loving, all powerful Mormon God would command Hinckley about how many earrings a woman can wear in each ear, but not protect a baby that is being raped and murdered or stop terrorist attacks? How stupid and ridiculous is that?

So your amazing God can't ever intervene in murders, torture, starvation, terrorism, etc, due to free agency; but he can command how many earrings a woman wears and promote through Bednar, the ending of relationships? I know your all simple minded, but good Mormon God, are you serious? THINK ABOUT IT!!

I guess it's all about priorities and it sure is sad to see the sheeple like you guys that have commented, just following along, without using one single braincell or one ounce of logic. What sad lives you live.

Oh by the way, I read the Book of Mormon 12 times on my mission...twice in English and 10 times in Spanish, so please apologize for suggesting that I'm not familiar with the precious and plagiarized book of Mormon fraud.

Oh yeah, and Gordon B Hinckley is an arrogant asshole too, just like Joseph Smith, your first Prophet of fraud, sex and lies!!

Remember now...be extremely Christlike in your responses to me, because your temple recommends depend on it and you're all really good and loving Christians...LOL!!

Hey Samuel,
It's me again. Wow, you really are angry. I just read some of your comments again (which I won't do again because unlike you I have a life).

Just wanted to check in to see what activities you'll be participating in this weekend to help you "feel better" about yourself.

Enjoy the JD!!

Well dumbass anonymous, I don't know who the hell you are, because if you noticed, which you obviously didn't; I have 8 anonymous people/comments alone in this post, because they are too stupid to just make up a name, or too afraid to sign up with Google, so that I can know who is who.

Then like the stupid asses you are, you talk to me as if I know who you are...typical brain-dead Mormon mentality!!

Admit it, you are gonna read this comment and hang out on my blog all the time, because you can't stop reading the truth, despite staying in your cult of shit.

Oh and I have a life and it's FUCKING helping people you judgmental piece of shit, which you know nothing about and couldn't care less about!! My life isn't in the "only true cult on earth", like yours is. I don't follow 97 year old men, hanging on their every worthless word, like you do.

Anyway, I'm glad your gone, whoever the FUCK you are and I couldn't care less!! Now bow you head and say yes and get ready for you cult Sunday school and Priesthood lessons on Sunday and oh yeah, be sure to bear your testimony of your pathetic cult and how true it is and that horny Joe is a Prophet and that your infallible Hinckley is wonderful and can never sin or lead the world astray, even though he has and does at every turn.

Oh, and don't go trying to marry any 14 year olds or other men's wives, like your cult Prophet of Fraud Joseph Smith did, okay?

I look forward to your response, because I know you can't resist and can't stop coming back, because outside of your pathetic Mormon cult...you have NO LIFE...LMAO!!

Alma 24: 30
30 And thus we can plainly discern, that after a people have been once enlightened by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness, and then have fallen away into sin and transgression, they become more hardened, and thus their state becomes worse than though they had never known these things.

Take Alma 24:30 to heart. If going to church and having testimony is wrong then I do not want to be right.
